Hey there you lovely readers! Just wanted to excuse myself for any spelling errors I have made or any future ones:/ also sorry if sometimes I don't upload any new chapters it's just that with being a Junior in high school test are coming up:( but aside from that here's the next chapter!

When I woke up I was alone. And it made me feel unwanted. I knew Aiden had things to do but I felt lonely. A nurse came in and said "good morning! I brought you some pain killers along with some breakfast and your doctor will come later on to check on you" I smiled and said "than you" she smiled and said "good now if you need anything else please feel free to press the button." I nodded and she left. I was about to eat some pudding when the person I least expected to see came in.

DAD. He looked serious and as if though he hadn't had a good nights sleep. He came closer and I instinctively moved away. When he was standing beside my bed he said "I trust you haven't said anything" "no sir." he nodded and said "your leaving this place in two days...don't open your mouth or your punishment will be painful. Now I don't want my son hanging around here so tell him to leave" I nodded and remained quiet. He just looked at me with no expression and eventually left without saying anything else.

My appetite was gone now, I was scared what would dad do when I got home? What will I tell Aiden to make him leave? What will mom do? When will all Of this end? Will I ever get to experience true happiness ever again? Will dad ever tell me why he hates me so much? Will mom BE my mom ever again? What will happen I told Becca the truth? What will happen if Aiden found out the truth? Will my beatings get worse? I was so lost in thought I didn't notice that I had a visitor. Matt. He was wearing jeans with a white shirt that complemented his perfectly well built body his hair was neatly combed and he was holding daisies.

He smiled making me smile back. "hey Sapphire..." "hi, you shouldn't have bothered to come" he smiled and sat at the edge of the bed and said "I don't mind besides I brought you these" he handed me the flowers and I whispered a thank you. "so how do you feel?" "I feel a lot better but my sides still hurt from any sudden movement" he nodded and smiled sadly "I wish I had been there at the end of the stair case ready to catch you" I blushed and smiled "I'm ok Matt, really" he smiled and said "so, how's the food here? I hear it's terrible" "its not that bad but I really wish I could eat some gummy bears" "gummy bears? Wow, I imagined you'd probably want a whole buffet" "I'm ok with gummy bears" he smiled and said "apparently. So when do you get out?" I hesitated and said "well, hopefully in about two to three days" he nodded and came to sit closer to me so we were lightly touching. I didn't question his movements but I was almost positive he wanted to say something else.

He stared at me with concern yet something else I wasn't used to seeing anymore... "Sapphire..." he cupped my cheek with his right hand and I wanted to pull away but I was afraid I would anger him. "y-yea?" his eyes slowly shifted to my lips then back up to my eyes and said "do you know how beautiful you are? I can't get you out of my mind..." my eyes widen and I slightly blushed. "Matt..." he shook his head and grabbed my hands in his and said "it's true! I'm not kidding your very beautiful. ever since I saw you I had my eye on you. But I never had the courage to talk to you. And now I have the chance. I hate seeing you hurt. I want to be there for you to make it all better, heck I wanna be there for you every second of the day!" he looked at me and leaned in closer I put my hands on his chest ready to push him away, our lips were merely touching and I could feel his ragged breathing. He really was handsome but I didn't like him like that. "Ma-" I was cut off when he said "please Sapphire say you'll be my girlfriend." no he couldn't be asking that when I stayed quiet and he searched my eyes for something he closed his eyes and was going to kiss me but then the door flew open and in came a smiling Aiden yelling "hey S! I'm-" but he saw how close Matt and I were and he suddenly looked at me with...anger? And stormed out of the room........

Well at least dad wouldn't beat me for making him stay... But then why does this make me feel a whole lot worse?
