Felix frowned when he saw Lila practically skip through the halls, glee written all over her stupid face. Marinette was nowhere to be seen.

"Rossi" Felix called. Lila halted in her steps and faced him.

"Yes, Felix?"

"where is Marinette?"

Lila gasped. "Oh, it was awful. I tried to reconcile with her, but she just began to-"

"Save your bloody lies for your damn sheep and tell me where she is" he snarled, startling the girl. Good. He always made sure to make her aware that he would never buy any of her bullshit.

"Hmph. If you want that loser so bad, go and find her" Lila shrugged and walked away from him.

Felix grit his teeth and hastily packed his books away, along with Marinette's stuff and walked out of the hall. He took one last look back and saw Lila fake crying with her flock of sheep, clearly telling them a lie about whatever conversation she had with Marinette. He glared at them before leaving the place.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marinette sobbed as she held her red ribbons close to her chest. Sadness and the fact she was heartbroken were two very noticeable things that were front and centre in her mind.
She couldn't stop thinking about how Alya believed Lila so easily. It hurt that Alya and the others were deliberately hurting her. Yes, the name-calling and lies and have been going on for some time now, but she expected her friends to have faith in her in the beginning. She also hated how Adrien so easily gave into Lila's lies and allowed the bullying to get physical. It would be okay if they knew because they were in this together.
HA!
He didn't have her back, and it stung...he promised. He said they were friends but Adrien lied to her.
Marinette knew she was no saint, but for everyone to believe she was malicious, jealous and mean? It's like everything and every incredible moment meant they've all shared together nothing to anyone of them. They never saw her as a friend. If they did, they wouldn't be so quick to believe Lila and push her aside like the was nothing.
It hurt.
Everything hurt so much and she wanted it to stop. She wanted the pain to end and for the feeling of betrayal to disappear. She nearly gave up on being Ladybug and looking after Plagg because of the pain and suffering that she had to cage to avoid being akumatized. This caused a new wave of sorrow to overcome her as she sunk deeper into her despair.
She heard the fluttering wings of a butterfly and she knew what was coming. it was almost an everyday occurrence. though she hasn't been a target as much since Felix joined their class.
The butterfly flew into the ribbons she was holding and she heard Hawkmoth's voice.
"Hello, Princess Justice."
It's how he always greeted her over the past three, almost four years, even though she would always say no. However this time, the despair felt stronger than usual. More fresh. She couldn't even find it in herself to respond. As if she was battling with herself. she felt so...empty. She didn't even take notice of the tall blonde walking out of the school, seeing her on her knees, tears streaming down her face.
Felix immediately panicked when he saw the outline of a butterfly on Marinette's face and the redness around her pain-filled eyes. the look paint him and he quickly ran over to Marinette grabbing her by the shoulders.
