Marinette woke up the next day feeling better than yesterday. With the reassurance of her friends and boyfriend, she let out a small smile feeling a little good about today.
However, she did wonder about what may take place at school today. Would people talk to her? Look at her? Say anything about yesterday? Oh, who was she kidding? Of course, they would at least say something about it.
Still, she knew one or two people may want to apologise to her. She frowned at the thought. There was no way she was forgiving anyone anytime soon. Heck, they'll be fortunate if they're ever forgiven. Like, Ever.
"Ready Mari?" Tikki asked.
"Nearly. Let me just finish up" she replied doing the finishing touches in her hair and admiring her look in the mirror.
She liked it and felt more confident. Chloe would also be delighted that she was wearing one of the outfits she had bought her.
As she was finishing her last croissant, she heard a car hirn from outside the bakery.
"Felix is here sweetie!" Sabine called from the kitchen.
"Coming!" She answered back.
She grabbed the small box of macarons she was going to give to Felix.
She said goodbye to her parents and left the bakery to be greeted by her boyfriend who was waiting for her in his car.
Felix had said from now on that he would pick Marinette up for school and take her back. She had wanted to protest against that but she could understand why he said that. In fact, she kind of appreciated it. It was really sweet.
After watching what happened to her yesterday on her way to school, and even seeing some of the incidents that happened before he joined, had traumatised him a little.
Either way, she was extremely grateful to know that he loved and cared for her so much. Something she thought she wouldn't have much luck finding. Which is rather funny since she's Ladybug.
