Once arriving at Riki's house, the boys dropped their school stuff in his room, getting changed into more casual clothes. The group decided to cut out some of their study time so that Riki's dad didn't get home super late after dropping them off. It was 6 pm now, meaning they'll arrive roughly around 8, the boys had a 2 hour long car ride ahead of them.
"Everyone to the car in 5 minutes or i'm leaving without you." Riki's dad laughed.
The whole reason they were going on this trip, was thanks to Heeseung, even though he really had nothing to do with it. A new sports complex had opened up recently; inviting tons of teams and athletes to come and try out their facilities from all across the province. The towns local basketball team being one of them. Heeseung was on that very team, alongside Jay, that's how they knew each other. When Riki told his parents about the trip, they insisted he go too, they thought it would be a good idea for the boys to get a break from their studies, so they invited Jungwon and Sunoo to come along.
After all the boys had clambered into the bright orange Toyota, they set off on their journey. Riki called shot gun, meaning he sat in the front next to his dad. Then Jungwon and Sunoo sat in the back. On the way there, Riki had control of the aux, playing basically every song in Shinee's discography. Jungwon entertained himself by reading 'Wuthering heights' and Sunoo played 'Mario Kart' on his Nintendo switch.
The long wait was over when Riki's dad pulled into the parking lot of their hotel. The boys were really tired, grabbing all their stuff from the car boot. Riki's dad followed them inside, helping them check in, leaving once the group got their key card.
The room was nice for a budget hotel. There was two queen beds set up next to each other, there was a wardrobe, a table, a full length mirror, and a big window peering out at the city. The boys began unpacking their stuff, then playing a round of rock, paper, scissors to see who get's a full bed to themselves.

Resting his head against the coaches window, Sunghoon regretted accepting the offer to go on this trip. He was used to long journeys, since he traveled back and forth to the rink everyday, but 2 hours was still a lot for him. He didn't really know anyone else on the trip, he had seen them around the rink but never interacted with any of them. The coach was pretty empty, with only 12 skaters being selected for the trip, so he was glad he didn't have to sit next to a stranger. He dreaded that once he got the hotel he'd have to share a room with one of the other skaters, though it was still better than being stuck at home.
"Sunghoon." A small voice calls.
Lifting his head from the window, Sunghoon sees one of his medics. Pulling out his head phones, he no longer hears the sweet concerto of Frederic Chopin, instead the rumbling of the coach and the chatter of his fellow skaters.
"Here's the menu for the restaurant we're going to eat at. Please pick out what you want to eat, so it's ready for when we arrive." She says, passing Sunghoon a piece of paper.
He nods his head, accepting the menu. Scanning the paper trying to decide what to eat, he's unable to make up his mind, due to all the options. Knowing he was about to train at a new rink for 2 days, he thought it would be best to choose something healthy. However, once he locked his eyes on one of the choices, he didn't want to eat anything else.
"Have you chosen yet?" She asks, seeing Sunghoon wasn't looking at the menu anymore.
"I'll have tteokbokki please."

Sitting on the bed he rightfully won in rock, paper, scissors, Sunoo stared across at Jungwon and Riki fighting over which side of the bed they would sleep on. 10 minutes had passed, and still no decision had been made.
