Class began as normal that Wednesday morning for 1A. Well... at least as normal as 1A can get.

After the drama of the previous few days, settling down after the attack, the class had gotten fairly comfortable with each other, much more trusting after their shared traumatic experience. Enough that Emika could shamelessly bust through the doors yelling "HÓLA PÙTAS!" at the top of her lungs without anyone batting an eyelash. And that morning, she did.

"S'up, asshole," Okami was quick to respond bluntly before being squished in Emika's death grip and beginning a conversation (that may or may not have been about jelly donuts). Emika looked around to see Sero attempting to teach Kaminari Spanish (keyword 'attempt'), Ashido giving Jiro a lesson on how to correctly seduce people and Mineta, surprisingly, not being a perv.

"Why the fuck were you so late Emi?! I thought you said you were just grabbing your textbooks? Your locker isn't that far," Okami asked teasingly.

"I was! But then I ran into Suki in the halls and I couldn't not talk to them!" Emika responded like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Hah! You're so fucking whipped, dude," Okami sassed.

"Says you! Fricken Todoroki simp!" Emika shot back, laughing as Okami scowled and flipped her off.

"Bitch-"

"Miss Yamazwa. Watch your fucking language." Aizawa interrupted tiredly as he walked (crawled) through the door in his obnoxious yellow cocoon.

Once at the front of the room he cleared his throat before addressing the rest of the students.

"I have some exciting news for you all." He droned.

"Woah, Aizawa-Sensei, you're not a mummy anymore!" Ashido exclaimed. Many of the students laughed at her comment before an intimidating glare from their teacher silenced them.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious, Ashido," he responded dryly, "My appearance is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet-"

"Our fight?" Bakugou interrupted, grumpy as usual.

"The sports festival is about to start," the mummified man continued, ignoring the many cheers that echoed through the room

'Let's go kick some ass!" Kirishima yelled. He was cut off by Kaminari shoving a hand in his face.

"Wait a second-"

"Is it really such a good idea to hold the Sports Festival so soon after the villain attack?" Jiro cut in.

"They could attack again once we're all in the same place," Ojiro added.

"Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever," the teacher shrugged, "plus, they're beefing up security compared to past years,"

The class was silent as Aizawa continued. "This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains.

"Why not? It's just a Sports Festival..." Mineta asked, trembling. Midoriya turned in his chair to face him.

"Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?"

"Of course I do! I just don't wanna get murdered!"

"Our Sports Festival is one of the most-watched events in the entire world. For anyone who cares about competition, it's the only tournament that matters," Aizawa explained, "If you wanna go Pro one day, then this event will open the path for you. With so little chances, no aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival,"
