Okami stared up at the huge gate in front of her with awe-filled wonder as she took in the towering monstrosity that was UA High school. The bolted doorway loomed overhead intimidatingly, only proving to accentuate her nerves tenfold. That was by no means her first time at UA, with her parents being teachers there, but the opportunity to finally become a student made her giddy nonetheless.
She was there early because her parents, Shouta and Hizashi, had to be there to prepare and supervise the exams. Shouta walked over to the small podium to the side of the large gate where the scanner was located and swiped his key card. The door creaked and slowly lifted open with a shuddering jolt. Hizashi beckons Okami to follow them in. With thirty minutes still remaining before the gate would open for the applicants, Okami decided to take a seat on one of the huge training fields and pulled her phone from her pocket, sending a text to Emika.

When she didn't immediately respond, Okami resorted to playing Minecraft until her phone buzzed with Emika's unique text tone.

TheWholeZo0: Not at all! I slept in! Your text woke me up (thanks!) and now i'm about to miss the bus shduhwudghi
FieryFloof: Emi! Why must you be like this -_- (you're welcome).
TheWholeZo0: it's fine, I made it! Be there in 20
Before Okami could exit Instagram, she noticed a new follow request.
- AkikN0 sent you a friend request-
Okami clicked on the profile, confused as to who would want to 'friend' her. Afterall, she didn't have all that many friends and her current discord 'friends' just consisted of Emika, her parents, and a few of their pro hero friends. That confusion turned to excitement upon reading the account name and description.

Okami accepted the friend-request. By the time Okami had finished Middle School, Suki still didn't have a phone, so they hadn't spoken since. Overjoyed at the opportunity to message her friend, Okami began typing out a message to Suki. Before it could be sent, though, a message appeared from a new group chat.

AkikN0: I suppose I did
