- Beyoncé's P.O.V

I walked through the hallways watching as everyone visited with their family members and socialized with one another.

Today is visitation day and of course, no one showed up for me. I'm not surprised but it still sucks seeing everyone with their families and not having one of my own.

I quit staring and looked down at the ground.

I counted the square tiles below my feet as I walked further down the hallway.

4...5...6...7...8...-

I was stopped from counting when I bumped into something hard and firm; a person.

"I'm sorry!" I immediately apologized.

"It's all good."

I looked up and locked eyes with the guy from the other day. A smile appeared on his face causing me to blush.

"Why aren't you visiting with anyone?" He asked.

"I have no one to visit with."

"That's shitty that no one showed up."

I looked down, his gaze being too much for me to handle.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"No, don't be. It is shitty."

I laughed at myself for what I had just said.

He propped the mop and the mop bucket up against the front desk and started to walk away.

"Come with me." He said.

I didn't hesitate at all. I followed him around a few corners and we stopped at the door to the kitchen.

"Do you like ice cream?"

"What kind of question is that?" I asked.

He chuckled walking further into the kitchen.

After a few minutes he came back out with two bowls of ice cream.

"If anyone asks, you didn't get this from me."

I took a bite of my ice cream, "That'd be lying though."

"Nah, just pretend." He said.

I nodded my head, "If anyone asks I'll pretend you didn't give me this ice cream."

He chuckled taking a bite of his own.

I noticed our ice creams are two different colors. I lifted my spoon into his and took a bite.

"Hey..." He said.

"I wanted to try yours."

"Taste better?" He asked.

I nodded my head, "A little."

He traded me bowls so I now have the brown ice cream.

"How long have you been here?" He asked.

"A long time."

I really have no sense of time but I know I feel like I've been here forever.

"I haven't seen you around." He said.

"They keep me in a room and refuse to let me out."

He nodded his head taking a bite of his ice cream.

He started to say something before the loud voice echoed through the hallway.

"All patients back to their rooms." I heard the voice say.
