“Mi Amor, please don't close your eyes.” He dismantles the iron chains with his sword. Picking up your weak fragile body in his arms, Jimin rushes down the stairs. “We are going back to Busan now.” A Royal carriage was brought and he sat inside. Placing your head on his lap. “You'll be fine.”
He whispers in your ears wiping the blood painting on your bruised up face. Jimin vigilantly held you in his embrace. “Hurry up” he repents not bringing the Royal medico along with him. Each second felt like years passing by.
“How could a pretty woman like you tolerate all the tortures garnered by that monster without any complaints?”
Jimin's gaze fell on his clothes. His pants were muddled with red colour. He gasped heart thumping in fear against his rib cage. “Hold on a little more Amor. I'll save you.” Gripping your weak hand in his, Jimin whispered silent prayers to God.
-THREE DAYS LATER-
Numbness and coldness. These are the right words that I could use to describe my condition. Waking up to an unknown place. Dressed in a long dress and perfectly bandaged wounds I found myself in a big room. “Did that stranger save me? Am I supposed to be his mistress for the mercy granted?”
I'm definitely never gonna be a mistress. I rather lose my life with pain and insults then forge my dignity and shun myself off to warm his bed. “You're awake, finally I see.” My head snapped to the voice. There he stood the man from earlier, in a Royal dress.
“How are you feeling?” He stands a few feet away from me. Entering the room. “Why did you save me?” He looked taken back by my words. “I had to save you, it was my duty.” Tears brimmed in the corner of my eyes.
“You'll take over my Yoongs Kingdom won't you? And then make me your bed coaxer.” The panic and distaste of my words on his face didn't go unnoticed by me. “I'll never do something so cheap. I respect Yoongi Hyung alot. My appearance in Daegu was to save the remaining people of his Kingdom. How could I not? I've looked up to him in many aspects.”
Clawing my nails on my fisted hands. I chuckle silently. “My Yoongs promised me we'd get married at the end of this month. But that attack.” Grasping on my dress my head hung low. Suppressing my agonising sobs.
“Miss, I know it's really hard for you. Please believe me, I hold no ill intentions towards you.” His voice was soft and caring. Hoping I catch up to the sincerity in it.
“Aren't you a married man? Won't your Queen be displeased at this act of you sympathising up to another woman?” He frantically shook his head, frowning at me. “I'm not married, Mi Amor- I mean Miss. If ever I end up in a nuptial bond. She'd be my utmost priority, to love and cherish until my last breath. The same way I protect my Kingdom and people.”
A bitter expression replaced my staunch emotions. “King Jimin, I advise you to give up any thoughts of making me your love interest. I was Yoongi's lover and will forever be his. I shall never be your Amor.”
His throat tightened avoiding any eye contact with me. “You were out for three days, because of the harsh impact that the bastard had left on your body by whipping. We had to proceed with his funeral.” “WHAT?”
Yanking the blanket of my body. My feet carried themselves to an unsaid destination. “You're not well, please rest.” His loud voice bellowed, ushering footsteps behind me. I stepped inside a large hall. Falling down on my knees. His portrait surrounded by lilies and dahlias was neatly arranged on a table.
