Henry and his daughter were spending the weekend at Bryan's house. Amy didn't want to go at first because she didn't want to encounter Bryan yet again, but her dad was able to convince her.

Henry didn't like the fact that Amy was always locked up in her bedroom. He wanted her to be herself again, and that was why he suggested they go spend the weekend at Bryan's place. Maybe Sean will be able to help Amy return to her bubbly self once again. He only hopes it turns out that way.

Amy and Sean were currently in his bedroom, after having lunch with both their fathers. Amy was resting her weight against Sean, who was sitting behind her, with his back against the headboard. She was trying to stop herself from laughing at the funny video they just finished watching on Sean's phone.

While Amy was concentrating on the phone in her hand, Sean was lost in his world. He was ecstatic to have Amy at his house, in his bedroom, on his bed, not to mention in an intimate position. He didn't think she'd be this comfortable with him after all that happened. He guess she was beginning to feel more at ease with him. The smell of her perfume and their closeness was getting him intoxicated.

What does he do in such a situation like this?

"Oh my gosh! That was so sick!" Amy laughed, lifting her head to see if Sean was also watching the videos, but she was surprised to find him staring intensely at her, with fondness in his eyes.

"What?" She asked in amusement, wondering if she had something on her face.

Rather than answering Amy's question, Sean slowly leaned in. Before Amy could comprehend what was happening, Sean was kissing her. She instinctively pushed him off her and quickly jumped to her feet, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.

"Why the hell did you do that?" She angrily asked.

"Amy, it's no longer news that I love you... I can't seem to control myself whenever I'm around you," Sean admitted, climbing down from the bed.

"And I remember telling you that I'm in love with someone else." Amy firmly stated. She doesn't understand why Sean doesn't want to let go of his feelings.

Doesn't he get the fact that she'll never reciprocate his love?

"You can't be serious." Sean chuckled in disbelief.

Is she seriously referring to the same person he is thinking?

"I am, and you know it," she replied.

"You can't seriously still be in love with a guy that left you completely shattered."

Amy didn't reply; rather, she went over to the nightstand and picked up her phone. She began to search for her sneakers, which she found at the foot of Sean's bed. She wasn't going to have this conversation with Sean. Whenever he feels level-headed, then they can hang out.

"I don't understand you, Amy. That good-for-nothing jerk broke your heart without a second thought. You even got admitted to the hospital because of that, yet he didn't see it necessary to visit you, or better still, give you a call to apologize for what he did, and you still love him?"

Sean was angry.

Amy was completely blinded by her love for that jerk, that she refused to see his fault.

"Just stop there, Sean," Amy said in irritation.

No matter what happened between her and Bryan, what they had was beautiful, so she wouldn't tolerate anyone bad-mouthing or judging him.

"No, Amy. You will hear me out. You know what I think? I think he's a fool not to see what an amazing person you are. He doesn't deserve your love or commitment because he's a selfish prick, who cares for no one but himself-"

"Stop it!" She tried again, closing her eyes to control her anger. She kept telling herself that two angry adults could never lead to a positive conversation.

"He kicked you to the side without a care in the world, like you meant nothing to him. Tell me, Amy... How can you still love such a person?" Sean was breathing heavily after pouring out his emotions.

He wanted Amy to make him understand what he wasn't doing right, as he wanted to do everything in his power to please her since they were already engaged.

"I need you to say something, Amy... Why am I not good enough for you?" He pressed, reaching for her hand and turning her around so she would face him, as she previously had her back towards him.

"I can never love you, because I'm in love with Bryan!" Amy yelled in tears, not realizing what she just confessed.

Sean hesitantly let go of Amy's hand, taking a few steps back. His face was filled with nothing but sheer shock.

Did he hear her correctly? Did she just say Bryan?

"What did you just say?" He then asked.

Amy instantly covered her mouth with both her hands as she became conscious of what she said.

"Amy, what Bryan are you talking about?" Sean demanded.

How did it slip out of her mouth? How did she just divulge a secret she has fought so hard to keep?

"I- I- I..." Amy couldn't form any words to defend herself.

Why was she at a loss for words at this crucial time?

"You're in love with my father?" He asked in disbelief.

"I- I never said anything of that sort-"

"My dad is the reason you almost died?"

All this time, he was blaming some unknown guy, hundreds of miles away, for Amy's heartbreak, for her mental, emotional, and physical pain, when the person in question was his father. Now he gets it, Henry has no idea who his daughter has been dating because it's his best friend.

Sean took Amy's silence as a yes and angrily turned around to leave his bedroom, but Amy rushed in front of him to prevent him from doing something stupid.

"Sean, I wasn't referring to your dad. Let's sit down and talk about this, please," Amy begged with tear-filled eyes.

"I don't believe you," Sean replied through a clenched jaw, shoving Amy to the side and storming out of the bedroom.
