Chapter Nine

- Present? 1980s Wandavision - 

"Morning Vision" You stroll happily into office "Woah, look at that, a computer!" 

"Y/N!" Vision turns to look at you slightly surprised "Yes, new in." He nods walking over to the desk Bucky used to sit at next to him. 

"So you're telling me this is a typewriter, a Rolodex, and a calendar all in one? What else can it do? Find me a Husband?"

"Eventually, yes." Vision laughs ironically and then shakes his head turning to you "Y/N, don't you already have a husband?" 

"Oh Vision, you silly, my husband died in the war remember?" You swat him playfully before being distracted "Hey, look, you  got electronic mail already!"

"It's called an e-mail, Y/N" He says confused as he sits down, perhaps Wanda would know why you were so confused of late, it seemed to be happening a lot to you. As Vision opened the email, you along with everyone else in the office started talking at the same time, reading the email aloud. 

 "S.W.O.R.D. Top secret communiqué. Authenticate. Doctor Darcy Lewis' findings regarding Maximoff's Anomaly. High levels of radiation present at perimeter. Effect on Westview residents unknown. Please advise."

Then you all laugh heartily before going back to you business, you smile at Vision "Well, come on, Vis. What are you gonna write back? You're the office funny guy. It's a joke. Can't you tell? None of it is real." You gaze at him, confused and unamused Vision zaps the energy out of the computer before turning to you and putting it either side of your head, waking you from the trace. As you come out of it you gasp. 

"Please, Vision you have to listen!" You put your hands on his chest, still panting. "I'm not sure how long I have, I need to block her out but Agatha is playing around in my head to...listen!"

 "Calm yourself, Y/N, I can't understand what you're trying to tell me."

"You have to stop her, help her."

"Stop who?"

"Wanda, she's in everyones heads, her pain we can all feel her pain, and not only is there an entire army of people out there thinking she's a terrorist,  but Agnes is fucking with her in here... and she's taken Bucky somewhere... Please Vision.... the pain comes back, you're able to block out the return but vision puts his hands back on your head, he's not realised he isn't real yet and you can see it, so you pretend. Smiling brightly at him. 

"Now tell me this. If I send an e-mail, where would I put the stamp? ... Technology. Wow."

After spending all day trying to find Agnes or any clues as what Wanda had done to Bucky you finally see Vision heading home form work. 

"Well howdy neighbour" You smile as you walk in step with him "mind if I walk home with you?" 

"It would be a pleasure.." Vision smiles at you, still worried about your mental state. As you both head towards home you see Wanda, the boys and Agnes stood around talking sadly. 

"He is family. Bring him back, Mom."

"Bring who back?" Vision asks, as everyone slowly moves to reveal Agnes holding a blanket, two fluffy ears poking out. 

"Oh, boys. Come here." Vision sighs hugging them. When you're sure Wanda and Vision aren't looking you glare at Agnes, slipping into her mind. 

"You bitch..." you mouth to her still glaring. At first she's taken aback... but then a wicked smile appears on her face as she stares back before the others finishing having their moment and turn to you once again to take the dog from Agnes for a burial. You then listen in, under the window that night at the conversation Vision has with Wanda, you hear her walls finally breaking down as Vision goes from  talking about his conversation with you, without her control, and then to revealing how scared he is. Your heart drops as a a man walks in claiming he's Pietro. Agnes... you thought to yourself... or was it Agatha... why was she using a different name... what the hell was going on.... was Wanda really... what was it in Agnes's mind you saw... the Scarlet Witch? Fuck you sigh as you walk back to your house.... this is so messed up... and where the hell was Bucky. You hopped in that moment he was safe that she's booted him out of the Hex but Wanda wasn't letting anyone into there head.
