Chapter Three - First Meeting

Third Person POV

Vincent walked in with Noah behind him who was holding Liam's hand. Maggie was first to see them as she was behind the counter talking to Josiah. She gave her famous smile and waved at the three walking in. Josiah turned to see his favorite people. He turns to Maggie who pushes him away. "Go see them." She says pushing him towards them. He walks over to them giving Vincent a quick kiss and turning to his two little ones smiling up at him. He rubbed both their heads and led them over to the table.

Kiyomi ran around to different tables delivering everybody's food. Maggie right beside her running around in circles. The cooks were working overtime as the diner became more and more busy.

"Kiyomi, table three is missing pancakes."

"Got it Maggie."

"Kiyomi, table six knock over their drinks."

"Be right there."

Orders were shouting everywhere as people were squeezing past each other trying to get through. Kiyomi finally got to the table that would change her life.

"Hello I'm Kiyomi and I'll be your server. Can I start you off with some drinks?" She noticed the boys all looked at each other silently communicating. Liam went quiet and looked down playing with hs fingers. Noah grabbed his hand under the table.

Josiah was the one to speak up. "One black coffee, one sweet tea, and two chocolate milks please." Kiyomi smiled and wrote everything down. She noticed the outfit Liam was wearing causing her to stare a little too long. She stopped when Vincent cleared his throat. She coughed and got herself together. "I'll be back to take your orders."

As soon as she left Noah spoke up, still holding Liam's hand. "Why did she stare at Liam?"

"I'm not sure pup, but she saw something that caught her eye." Josiah spoke softly, not missing the slight blush from using Noah's favorite nickname. Noah nodded and went back to playing a game on his phone with Liam while Josiah and Vincent talked business.
