Third Person POV
Kiyomi was sitting on her bench focusing on her coloring books when she noticed the clouds got darker. Because she was feeling little, her eyes started watering a little, but she put on her brave face and packed up all her stuff. On the other side of the park, Josiah had just gotten his little ones while Vincent packed up their stuff. They headed Kiyomi's way because of where their house was. However, nobody noticed the man hiding behind the trees watching the girl with hungry eyes.
She started walking slowly trying to fix her tangled sweater and pull the loose string when she ran into what seemed to be a wall. There were no walls outside. She looked up and saw a man smiling down at her. "I'm sorry sir I wasn't looking where I was going."
He bent down slightly and pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ears. "It's alright sweetheart. What's a cutie like you doing out here all alone."
"I'm just heading home." She put her head down and started to walk away when he grabbed her arm pretty hard.
All four boys had been watching the interaction in case they needed to jump in. As soon as the man touched her, Josiah pushed Liam and Noah behind him and looked at Vincent. He immediately got the message and took the boys over to the car then watched from a distance.
Kiyomi struggled against the man's hand trying to get loose. "Don't struggle sweetheart. It'll make it worse." Suddenly the man's hand was ripped away from Kiyomi and she was pushed behind another man. "Keep your hands off her."
The man laughed at Josiah which was a big mistake. "Relax, I can just get you another one if you want one that bad."
Josiah's eyes narrowed as he stared the man down. "My husband is over there right now and with one press of a button the police will be here taking you away for harassing an innocent girl." The man stared back, but left grumbling every cuss word he could think of.
Josiah turned to Kiyomi and bent down slightly looking at her. "Are you okay?" She nodded looking down. He brought his hand up slowly lifting her head so she looked straight in his eyes. "You're safe now. He won't bother you anymore." Her eyes filled with tears as she began to slip even further. Knowing the look, Josiah simply picked her up and rubbed her back softly walking over to the car. Vincent looks at the girl with concern filling his eyes. She continued to cry as the two men talked about grown up stuff.
Vincent opens the back door revealing a crying Liam in Noah's arms. "Hi my little prince, it's okay. Everythings okay now." Liam buried his face in Noah's neck and calmed his cries.
"This is Kiyomi and she'll be riding with us. Be very gentle with her, okay?" Both boys mumbled a small "yes daddy'' before making room.
Josiah looked down to see the girl sleeping and mumbling in her sleep. He smiled at her softly before gently putting her beside Noah. Vincent got in and drove them all to the house. Checking on them quickly, he saw all three little ones asleep cuddled up together.
