Chapter Nine - Shopping

Third Person POV

When Kiyomi woke up, she immediately wanted to go back to sleep. Today was the day Isabella would take her out and do some mandatory sister bonding. The first thing she did was check her phone. The messages she saw completely made her day. She smiled and blushed remembering dinner with the boys last night. She remembered the moment Liam took her phone out her hands and took pictures of himself along with them together.

Liam - "Rawr! That means I love you in dinosaur - fun fact!"

Noah - "Morning Kiki! I hope you can come over soon!"

Josiah - "Good morning Kiyomi! I hope you got home safely!"

Vincent - "Good morning sweetheart! Liam and Noah miss you already so come over soon!

She was broken out of her trance when she heard loud knocking on her door. "Kiki, get ready! We're leaving soon!" She immediately recognized the voice of her annoying older sister Isabella. After hearing footsteps walking away, she ran to her bathroom and got ready as fast as she could.

Walking down the stairs, she heard Isabella telling her mother all about her new promotion. Her mother was beaming and praising her after every sentence. Hearing all of that made Kiyomi extremely sad, but she put on her fake smile and walked into the kitchen. "Good morning mama! Good morning Izzy!"

They both smiled at her happy attitude. "Kiyomi, it's so good to see you feeling much better! I hope you're excited about going shopping with Isabella."

She looked at her sister and smiled. "I'm really excited."

"Good then let's get going." Kiyomi followed her sister out the door and to her car.

There's only one word that can describe that whole shopping experience. EXHUASTING!! Isabella pulled her to every highend store there was then continued to laugh at how she couldn't afford anything. She completely ignored every place Kiyomi wanted to go which is no different than when they went shopping years ago. The only break she got was when Isabella went to the bathroom and told her to sit in the food court, which she hated. Sitting there, she got a call from Josiah.

"Hey sweetie, what happened to those plans we had?"

Kiyomi had never felt so guilty before. "I'm so so sorry! I completely forgot and my sister had already planned to take me shopping and I didn't remember and I'm really sorry!"

"Kiyomi breathe! Everything's okay I promise! We can make plans another time. You sound exhausted right now, so once you're done go ahead and take a nap. Does that sound good?"

"Yes it does."

"Good! Did you get stuff you like?"

"Actually I don't have that much money, so I just got something small."

"Well that's alright sweetheart! I'm sure Vincent and the boys will be very happy to spoil you rotten."

Kiyomi giggled and blushed but quickley hid it as she saw her sister. "Thank you! My sister is back, so I'll have to go now."

"Enjoy your day little one! I'll talk to you later!"

She whispered a quick bye and hung up. Her sister just assumed it was someone at work, so she ignored it and grabbed her hand. "Let's go! We have more places to see."
