Chapter 1: How it all started?

They all said there are no other creatures present in this world except humans and animals. They were wrong. I am Isabella Lilac Smith. I am not human, and was not born immortal. Some people might not know about our world and think that this world is just mentioned in the fairytales. But they are totally wrong. Werewolves, vampires, hybrids, and many more. The mythical creatures that people thought ceased to exist or didn't exist at all, do exist but they live in their own world. Although I am not one of them, I am different from them all. I am a Tribrid. I am one of a kind. A mixture between werewolf, vampire and a witch. At first, nobody thought that a kind like mine was even possible but it is. 

My mother, Ella Smith, is a witch, a witch who got the blessing to perform dark magic from her ancestors. My mother is a powerful witch. She can take down hundreds of creatures like this at a single time and still would be able to fight. 

My father, Julian Smith, was the alpha of the most powerful pack, the crescent moon pack. Everybody feared him and worshiped him. I was born around 900 A.D. I was the third child and not the last. Noah, Byron, me, Kylo, Lili  and Flora. My siblings. My brothers were always over-protective towards me and my sisters. At some point we were seriously annoyed by their behavior. But we loved each other very much and stood for each other if one was in trouble. We used to say one thing. Always and forever. And we are applying this quote till now. Now let's see how it all started. 

It was a sunny day and we were playing in the garden as usual and mother was cooking food for us, while father was gone to take a round around our territory. It was then I heard some footsteps. They were just getting closer and closer. But then they were visible. They were our enemy pack who literally resented my father. They had some weird obsession with me if you ask, the leader of the pack came forward and said to my brothers who were standing in front of me like a wall, "Give us the girl and we'll let you go. We won't bother you anymore." As if that man's words were true. I had already made a plan about all of this. I was considered a genius of the family. They all listened to me and most of the time I was right. I mind linked all of my siblings and said, "Let me step forward. I have a plan. As I will be just a few meters apart I will use my witch powers. He might not see that coming and when I will use them, we need to run as fast as we can. Noah you will grab Lili, Byron grab Flora and I will grab Kylo and we'll run as fast as we can, understood? Now, good luck. "Everybody understood the plan. They knew if I was the plan's mastermind, I wouldn't be wrong. And everything went as planned. I took a few steps and then casted a spell which they didn't see coming. A fireball appeared in my hands and I threw it towards them and they were all dead on spot except their alpha and his beta. They were too smart to fall for my trick. Well, I knew this and we ran as fast as possible and reached our home.

 We told mother all of the things that had happened in the past few hours. And she was just shocked because I was only 16 and I couldn't have taken out the whole pack all by myself. But then my father came home as he sensed danger coming our way. Because of what I did I had started a war between my father, his alliances and his enemies. And this war will only bring destruction, it will ruin the families and packs. It will ruin many lives. I will not be able to see that, that because of me that this all had started. But I knew a solution for this. I asked mother, "Mother, why don't you make an immortal species? You can do dark magic. I'll tell you the right spells. You can test it on me because it's my idea. And I am 98% sure that it will work." At first, they all were unsure about this. They thought that this was far too risky. But after a few hours of convincing, they agreed and as I said I helped mother cast the right spells. But in order for this to work I had to die once. I decided to just slit my throat because it was the easiest way to die. I was scared that this spell won't work but it did. 

I woke up after half an hour but I felt that something was wrong, I felt a particular type of hunger in me. It was not any normal hunger; it was the hunger for blood. I saw an enemy coming towards us bleeding, I ran towards him and sucked all of his blood out of him. This was the drawback of becoming immortal. This was the curse for an immortal species. We heard stories about draculas existing but never saw them but now we were dracula but we decided to name it something else, vampires. Blood sucking monsters if not trained properly. If you are immortal, you can't procreate so, this was another drawback of vampires. But after becoming a vampire, I felt power at another level. 

Mother turned our whole pack immortal and I hunted down some enemies for them in order for them to turn. I just took their rings and turned them into daylight rings. We had to wear them in order to walk during the day. But I didn't need to wear it because I was something else. I had witch powers inside me which protected me from burning. We just wanted to live a peaceful life but I guess it was never possible for us. We kept running for many centuries, roaming around the world looking for a place that we could call home. We had to earn money in order to survive in the modern world. We didn't have any kind of education so, we had to do something we were perfect at. We decided to become bakers. And due to this we have a lot of money now. we used to bake cakes on orders. After running a few centuries, in the year of 2008, we found our home in Mystic Falls. A city where supernatural species are known to exist.
