Bloody. Loud. Painful.

That's how I would describe my time here throughout my 'timeout'. I had lost track of how long I've been here. In the dark. Hearing nothing but screams. Seeing nothing but the blood I've spilt, and feeling the pain I've caused innocents. I can't move. Almost as if I was in a lucid dream. I'm aware that I'm asleep, and yet I can't wake up. This was my personal hell and deep down I knew I deserved it.

I still can't believe I allowed the Demon King to fill my head with lies. He lied about everything. And I still fulfilled his evil desires. He wanted me to be his queen. The nerve on that pedophile. I had the power to kill him and did nothing of the sorts.

I've had, what has felt like, a couple millennia to think of the countless outcomes if I had done anything differently. But, no matter what I think, I will always be stuck here. The pain I've had to live through, over and over again, has slowly numbed. And I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not. I'm relived I don't feel that immense pain as I had at first, but I don't want to lose my humanity in the process.

I've always wondered what had happened with the holy war. Did the demons win? Did the goddess clan defeat the demons? Or was their a surprising twist and one of the other race's won? Thousands of questions and no answers. Who knows how much longer I'll be stuck here. I wonder if anyone even remembers my existence, or if I was just swept under the rug with the rest of the Demon King's disgraces.

All in all, I just want Zeldris and Meliodas to be happy. I've missed them dearly. I wonder what they could be doing now.

third person pov—

The Seven Deadly Sins were currently battling GrandMaster Hendrickson, who was currently corrupted with red-demon blood. But when he was slammed against a stone wall, it was revealed to be hollow. And as the smoke cleared, a gigantic red-demon corpse was shown. The sins and holy knights gasped in horror. Ban just scoffed, unamused.

"Ah! Now you see. The source of our power!" Hendrickson stated proudly, with his arms motioning towards the demon corpse.

King stared with fear as he whispered, "A red demon." His mind flashed towards the Fairy King's Forest. Then he looked at Ban. He ran a hand through his hair as a magical chain of darkness, coming from Hendrickson's arm, went through his torso.

He spat out blood but remained unfazed, then he said, "If the red demon's power is your only ace in the hole..." Ban started sprinted towards Hendrickson,"Your best bet is to fold and walk away from the table." Hendrickson's eyes widened slightly as Ban appeared a couple inches from him. He huffed with a smirk and raised his hand, "CAUSE I'M THE ONE THAT KILLED THAT FAT FREAK!!" He shouted as he punched the former GrandMaster towards the floor.

Once they saw that Ban created a hole in the floor, leading to something, Gowther, King, Ban, and Meliodas jumped down to look for Hendrickson, littered with dried blood and scars.

"Good news, bad news. We made it down okay, but it's pitch dark." Meliodas said, pointing out the obvious."You can't seem to flick that booger, can you Ban?" The Fox Sin of Greed rolled his eyes at the Goat Sin of Lust, "Great. I guess one of us can see." He said sarcastically. King used his Chastifol to create a beam of light, illuminating enough for them see that they were in some sort of abandoned mines. Ban flicked his booger in Meliodas' direction but he dodged it swiftly, as expected.

They continued walking until they came to a large structure, "Whoa." Meliodas whispered, although it echoed a bit through the stone walls. Gowther pointed out a trail of blood. Revealing that Ban had caused Hendrickson actual damage.

After walking for a while, they met Hendrickson near the end of the tunnel, "You have my gratitude, Fox Sin Ban." He thanked, gesturing towards him, "Without you, none of this would've been possible."

Ban grunted. "I'm always happy to help." He responded sarcastically. The corrupted Hendrickson motioned behind him. "Unlike the blood of the red demon, this ones blood will bring instant death to any soul unlucky enough to receive it." He smirked evilly towards the concerned looks of the sins before him once they had realized what he was talking about.

King raised the light a bit, and it revealed the catalyzed corpse of a grey demon. They were said to be stronger than red ones.

Hendrickson gave his hypothesis and his entire game plan, thanks to the newly found grey demon. Meliodas got a tad nervous, and Ban's eyebrows furrowed in frustration. Gowther grew concerned and King was terrified.

"Isn't it majestic! There's still so much we don't know about demons' ecology and genealogy." Hendrickson said as he used a tool to take some of the grey demons blood."Although, I know for a fact that this demon is far superior that the red demon." He pointed out. He soon injected it into his arm and Meliodas shouted, "ARE YOU NUTS?!" But Hendrickson was too far gone now as pain overtook his entire being.

Grey veins appeared on his skin and he screamed in agony as his entire body engulfed into a bright white light. His scream filled the mines and found its way out towards the surface. The scream was heard by the holy knights with Diane and Elizabeth. Their eyes widened and they covered their ears as concern for their friends grew.

And the scream of the soon-to-be grey demon traveled all throughout Britannia.

The scream, although seemed random, was a cry for help. Help from his superior. Help from his leader.

Help from Salina Drake.
