The atmosphere had gone completely still at the realization of what Escanor had done.

The guilt had suddenly weighed Gowther down.

"Crazy bastard! He just attacked the Ten Commandments!" Ban shouted with glee. Then he went to turn toward Meliodas, "Hey, Captain, what should we—!" But Meliodas had already disappeared and was standing in front of the wounded commandments.

"Let's get started. It's time for the real festival!" He declared with a scowl over his features.

Everyone watched with worry as Drole went to attack Meliodas but the blonde kicked him back against the rocks, eventually uppercutting his chin. Purple blood was spat out of Drole.

Reaching around his back for his blade, Meliodas sliced off two of Drole's arms.

Meanwhile, the spectators watched with unease. Despite knowing the commandments needed to be fought, they found Meliodas' wrath to be frightening.

Salina had been knelt beside Escanor, "You need to be healed." She determined, raising her head as her eyes met with Elizabeth's. The princess nodded her head in understanding. In an instant, Elizabeth took her place cradling Escanor in her arms. Salina was now back beside Elaine.

Standing near the edge of the platform, Salina watched wearily as Meliodas stood before Drole. Salina watched Gloxinia heal himself while Drole used his remaining hands to execute another formation, "{Gigants Embrace}!"

The arena hands closed together, making all of the contestants inside fall in the dark void. The clasped rock-hands then went deep beneath the earth, essentially being buried alive. "Now they're all my hostages. If you resist, then they'll die." Drole threatened. However, Meliodas wasn't fazed as he sliced off Drole's remaining hands, "I'll make sure that doesn't happen!" He shouted, landing a right hook across the giants' face.

Gloxinia, now healed, was suited up in his golden armor. But it was soon dissipated by Meliodas effortlessly. "Give it up." The blonde spoke threateningly, his demonic mark slowly appearing over his face as purple overtook his green irises. "You two don't stand a chance."

Gloxinia stared down at Meliodas with reminiscence, "I remember the three of us each joining forces to defeat the Demon King, and now we've become enemies." He sighed with a shrug, "Fate certainly has a twisted sense of humor, doesn't it? Like how Salina Drake became the true cause of the holy war and is now about to be the reason for the next one ." Gloxinia chuckled humorlessly.
