Hey everyone,
So... long time no see.
It's been four years. I know. Time flies pretty fast, huh. My life since then has been a series of challenges and near-death experiences, but somehow, I'm still here. Though struggling away from home, it's better than dying straight up, lol.
First and foremost, I want to offer my most sincere apology to the dedicated readers of "I Was a Cool Guy Until I Got Resurrected as a Girl!!!". I never intended to create a story that so many would fall in love with and wait for. Seeing your comments and love over the years has filled me with so much gratitude and...guilt.
The truth is, I was running from everything. This story became both my greatest achievement and a heavy burden. I tried to move on, I tried other jobs and never fitted in, writing other novels, screenplays, and non-fictions in my local community, but nothing ever stuck like this one. It kept calling to me....my unfinished business.
So, after considering a lot, I've decided to come back and continue this journey with you all. I want to tell this story till the end. I think Reiko deserves that.
Whether you're a new reader or have been here since the very beginning, you're in for a treat.
Thank you for waiting.
With gratitude,
Zwekemon

-Previous in Vol 1-
Reita Harusaki was the youngest son of the Harusaki Household, which has one of the biggest business corporations in Japan. He was smart, charming, and popular among many girls, but he always kept his cool, or so he thought.
But to his demise, Reita was playing soccer in the open field during a scorching heat wave. Although he was dizzy, nauseous, and sweating profusely, he scored a final goal for his team. After that, without proper caution, Reita chugged a bottle of iced water, which caused him to faint almost instantly. The shock to his system was severe, leading to a fatal heatstroke.
In a desperate, heart-wrenching attempt to save her son, his mother, Noriko, a powerful witch, performed a dangerous and forbidden resurrection spell. The spell worked... but not without a drastic, unexpected consequence. Reita woke up alive, but he was no longer a he. He had been resurrected as a girl.
Living as Reiko, the "long-lost twin sister" of Reita, our protagonist had to navigate a world that was suddenly entirely new. From learning the basics of being a girl under the tutelage of her mother and sister Yuudachi, to enduring the relentless teasing of her secret-agent brother Katsuki, Reiko's life was turned upside down. The entire family dotes on her, haunted by the fear of losing her again. During her rehabilitation, Reiko gained a stoic white rabbit called Haku with a sharp bite and an attitude.
Returning to school as Reiko was a shockwave of its own. Instantly popular and swarmed by students, she was rescued by two girls, Haruka and Momiji, who quickly became her first friends. She later befriended Mitsuki, who helped her through a tough P.E. class, solidifying their new, tight-knit group.
Meanwhile, in Hokkaido, something terrible is arising in the dark. Kishiba, Noriko, and Tajima were aware of this threat. It was a force of nature they dealt with many years ago and never quite succeeded in finishing it. Now it has finally come back, more dangerous than ever.
The growing tension forces Kameyo, Reiko's formidable grandmother and head of the Maoroza witch household, to arrive with seven young witches to guard a mysterious pot hidden within the Harusaki home. Upon discovering Noriko's use of the forbidden spell and Reita's transformation, Kameyo's fury was immense. It was only Reiko's heartfelt apology that cooled her grandmother's temper.
