Jin is crying for the third night in a row. Locked in his room, hoping no one can hear him. He can't believe Namjoon brought her here. To his own house! To the place where they met for the first time! Where they kissed for the first time! Where they had their first night together...He brought her here without asking him if he was okay with it. If he was gonna be fine. The only one he asked permission to was Yoongi. And just thinking about the other accepting without asking him either makes him even sadder.
It all feels so weird. It doesn't make any sense in his head. Of course it doesn't. How could Namjoon take him out of his heart this easily? It can't be. No one can forget a love like theirs from one day to the other.
He can't help remembering the old times. Their families always gathered together. The Min, the Kim and of course Namjoon's family. All of them proud of their children. Specially when they were following their steps. But one of them had a different treatment.
Jin's parents never talked about him. They had nothing to be proud of according to them. Just a pretty boy that didn't care about business. That's all Jin was. A disappointment. So much so that his father didn't even try to make him change. He was a lost cause.
He was sure his existence was pointless. But Namjoon made him feel different. He made him feel important. He gave him the most memorable days. With presents, kisses and sweet words that are now tattooed in his brain. He still thinks about them sometimes
You're the most important person in the world for me, Jin
And how could he not fall for that? He was finally important for someone. He was beautiful for someone. Perfect for someone. He wasn't gonna give that up. And a new gold appeared in his life.
- You're gonna take your father's company?
- That's the plan
- But I thought you hated that job!
- I can take it! It'll be great for us!
- Wow, so I'm marrying a CEO? My father will be proud
Exactly. Namjoon was gonna have the husband he always wanted. Namjoon's father was gonna accept their marriage. Everything was gonna be perfect.
The kiss that he received from Namjoon after that conversation still feels surreal to this day. Namjoon wanted to marry him. Him! No one ever even considered Jin could get married before that! But there it was. The two had a future! And now...
Now it feels like if nothing have happened. Like if the best moments of his life were not real. Just something he imagined and took as factual. But he knows it's not a false memory. He knows it happened. What he felt that day is something no one can take away from him. Not even time.
The memories keep coming, like a way of torturing him reminding him what he no longer has. The first kiss under the stars. The first time he felt the other's skin against his. The first 'I love you'.
But Namjoon moved on with his life. Meanwhile, Jin didn't even try to move on. Because Namjoon was his life. He is his life. All he has is a dream of them together living happily. He doesn't wanna give up. He can't give up.
It's hard to understand how could Namjoon forget him. How can he see Jin and not feel what he feels. Before falling asleep, Jin wonders if it's really that easy to get over someone like himself. Maybe that's what happened. Maybe he was never special enough. Just like his parents told him.
The following day, he meets her again during breakfast. His lover's fiancee. The girl that he never mentioned before and that is now taking the role Jin wants. The girl wasted no time in talking to him. Mostly about business. Not every day you meet the most powerful CEO of Korea. And of course, Jin plays along.
She doesn't look like a bad girl. Is this what Namjoon wants? He can give him that. He's just as serious as her when it comes to work!... Though he doesn't enjoy it has as much.
Since she has tons of work, she leaves the kitchen before him. Probably to answer more emails or answering her phone that doesn't seem to stop receiving messages from her coworkers. As she walks out, someone else comes in.
Jin looks up only to see Jimin dressed with a pair of beautiful pink shorts and a white shirt with pink details. Despite having a preference for more masculine men, Jin can't take his eyes off him. The young boy's proportions look out of this world. His legs, his waist, his a-
- Should I charge you for staring?
- Hmm? Oh! I-I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry! It's just that, you l-look very pretty B-But I won't look anymore I-
- Hahahaha You don't have to worry, I know those are not your intentions Jin Hyung. I can tell what people want by how they look at me.
- I guess your job made you an expert
- Pretty much. I know who wants to do business and who's just... admiring
- W-Well, then I'm glad! Because you look very pretty
- Thanks...You know? Suits are not really my kink. But if you dressed more casually I'm sure I would flatter you back! You are very handsome
- I-I am?
He's still not used to hearing those things. Namjoon used to be the only one to say things like that. Or at least he was before getting engaged with someone else. And that's when a new idea pops on his head.
That's it! That's how he'll do it! Yes! He needs to look beautiful for Namjoon! You get a man through his eyes, right? That's how you get to his heart! Or at least he hopes so, because he's running out of options and the wedding is each day closer...
