Stage 3: Anger
For Jin, this last few weeks have been beyond strange. Taehyung and Jimin knew everything that happened and how bad he felt. And they were very specific with him.
The best way to get over someone is to distance yourself from him
Which is funny because he spent four years away and all that did was make his love grow. But now the circumstances are different and the strippers hope this could work. Jin really tries his best to distract himself from his ex. Thankfully, the young boys in his house do their best to keep his head focused on other things.
He can't help to think this is all his fault for not being good enough. Even though Tae keeps trying to convince him otherwise. But all that effort might go to waste. Because tonight is Namjoon's bachelor party.
Jin feels weird. This just reminds him the wedding is each day closer to happen. Namjoon didn't want a big party or anything that. He even refused Jungkook's idea of seeing the strippers do a show for them.
Actually, that would've never worked out. The two boys were well aware of what Namjoon said and did and they did not want anything to do with him. At the same time, Yoongi wasn't even close to accepting that in his house. His exact words were: "Don't ask them to do those things, they're young boys looking for a better future"
Taehyung and Jungkook then planned to have their own private party later and Jimin was simply happy to hear what Yoongi said. So this is a very different bachelor party.
To say the truth it's nothing that impressive. Just the seven of them drinking alcohol, talking about old memories. Jimin and Tae are supposed to just be there to help with the drinks but it feels like they're more than included. Specially when they realize Jimin drinks more than all of them together but has a strong stomach. And even more when Jungkook keeps making signs to Tae to sit by his side.
Jin enjoys the beginning of the night. Despite sharing space with Namjoon, this feels like he's back in the old days when they were all very close. And the fact that this is the first night they have dinner together without Hyerin being there is also very relaxing for him. Of course, he's unaware that if it was up to Namjoon he wouldn't be invited either.
- I can't believe you're getting married. I thought you were gonna end up like Yoongs, married to your work
- Hey! But yeah, even I thought I was gonna find someone before you
- How kind of you, thanks for that trust
They share a laugh but Jimin notices Jin's fake smile. And if there's one thing Jimin has a problem with is keeping his words to himself. So he asks a question ignoring the way Yoongi looks at him for his intervention
- Have you ever dated anyone before her, Mr. Kim?
- N-Not really
- But you've been with some girls in America! You told us about them!
Jin chokes on his beer and Namjoon goes dark red. That was supposed to be a secret between them. But how would they know he wasn't telling any of this things to Jin? On the other hand, the older one was beyond confused. He was answering the texts they sent but not his? And he was sleeping with other girls?
- I-I mean t-that was just a f-few times. They weren't really important!
He doesn't know why he's defending himself. And Jin has to try his best not to get up and leave. But he's tired. Tired of always running away in tears. So he just drinks another glass of beer. And then another. And another. And one more...
