Chapter Thirty Six.

Being by the fire with my girl was better than any night could ever get. With her arms wrapped around me, her head right on my chest, nothing felt better and she felt the exact same way. I could tell.

“This vacation is amazing.” Casey said with a small grin, the one that made my heart stop beating just by looking at it. “Thank you for everything.”

“Well you made it amazing.” I admitted truthfully. “You really did Casey and I mean that. I don’t think you know how much you mean to me but you’re pretty much everything.”

            “Scott…”

“No. I mean that. I don’t tell you a lot but you’re an extremely special girl to me Case. I can’t picture myself with anyone else.”

A different look in her eye emerged and no, I wasn’t planning on popping the question now, but I was trying to drop little hints to see what she’d do. Thankfully she didn’t seem frightened. Instead, she gently placed a kiss to my lips and turned her attention back on the fire until Mark came running up to us, a look of disbelief spread across his face.

“Yo!” He laughed almost, his hands going onto his knees from being out of breath. “I just saw Reina making out with another dude.”

“You what?” I asked, Casey sharing the same expression. “What the hell? Are you sure it wasn’t Justin?”

“No dude I’m positive. This guy had black hair and like I didn’t want to interrupt them or anything but they walked off before I could say something. Justin’s probably pissed man. So much for his vacation.”

“Oh god…” I said suddenly, standing up from the log. “Where the hell is Justin? Have you seem him Mark?”

“No. He probably caught his bitch cheating.”

“Hey.” Casey spat. “Don’t talk about her like that. I know Reina and I know how in love she is with him. This just doesn’t seem like something she’d do…”

Pulling out my phone, I immediately dialed Justin’s number but of course it went straight to voicemail. I know exactly what he’s up to and I swear to god if I don’t stop it I will never forgive myself. He needs to cut this shit out.

“I’m gonna check the suite.” I said quickly, shoving my phone into my pocket. “I’ll be back, okay?”

“Wait. I’ll go with you.” Casey replied and stood up.

“No. You uh, you can’t. I’ll explain later but I just need to go by myself. Mark look for Colby and see if he’s seen him too, alright?”

“Um, sure? I don’t know why it’s so damn important but okay.”

When the hotel room opened I walked directly into the room they shared and heard the running water of the bathroom, the handle locked when I tried to open it. That’s when I knew I was way too late.

“Justin!” I shouted, knocking loudly on the door. “Open the fucking door man. Now.”
