Date Night

**the evening**
Nikki's pov
I'm sat on a sofa chatting with Rhiannon who despite our bad start has turned out to be a friend.
"You're not all bad." She smiled
"Thanks, I'm only bad to people who are bad to me." I said. There's a knock at the door and Lisa gets up on her crutches to get it immediately like she's expecting someone. I listen in to the conversation at the door
"Oh you," Lisa muttered "come to proclaim your undying love for me."
"Of course I have," the person replied sarcastically, I could tell its a boy, Justin, "no I'm here to see Nikki."
"Of course you are, you guy are dating." Lisa sighed, I could see the sarcastic hand comer motion from over here. I walk over to them and when I see Justin I immediately smile.
"I was wondering if you would like to go out or something?" He smiled
"Sure let me grab my coat." I said running upstairs practically pushing Lisa into the wall.

We are stood on the pavement leaning on the bars just above the beach staring into the sea when a budding question popped into my head.
"Why did you kiss me? I mean I was such a bitch towards you, towards everyone."
"I don't know. I knew you were just being like that because of what what happening. You reminded me of me when I first arrived." He smiled
"I still don't understand. You could've gone out with anyone else Bonnie, Kenzie, but you chose me." I said
"Bonnie is just a girl trying to make a name for herself and Kenzie there is something wrong with her. I believed you were as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside." He said
"Everyone is bad on the inside." I muttered
"Not you," he smiled "revenge plans aside your pretty spectacular."
"You're not half bad either," I smiles "thanks for not writing me off."
"Anytime." He said putting his arm around me and kisses me on the cheek.
