The aftermath

Nikki's pov
I'm just about to set off to school when I get a call from Bonnie.
"Hey." I say
"Hi," bonnie says "you know that video I took of Bonnie and Dale yesterday, should I put it on YouTube?"
"OMG! Yes Bonnie! You genius!" I say
"Ok, cool I'll see you at school." Bonnie says hanging up.

When I reach school Justin sat starts walking beside me, can this guy stay out of my way?
"You again." I say not even glancing his way.
"I just wanted to tell you to stay away from Fairchild, he's trouble." Justin says
I stop walking and turn to him "well some people like trouble." And then I walk off.
Before I can find Bonnie the bell goes for tutor and before I can get there someone taps my shoulder.
"You are one scheming bitch." Lisa shouts
"Good day to you too." I say
"If you wanted to hurt me, then you should've done it to my face." She shouts
"Oh sweetie, you haven't been hurt yet and if you are then the pain is only going to get worse." I say
"Well maybe it'll its your turn to get hurt." She smirks
"We will see about that sweetie." I smirk back and walk to tutor.

"Nikki Mulgrew you're late, again." Mr Windsor says when I walk into tutor, I spot that he is doing another freaking puzzle.
"Like I care." I say walking straight past him and taking my usual seat next to Bonnie.
"What's up?" Bonnie smiles
"Lisa." I say
"What happened this time?" Bonnie says
"Someone has told her about the thing we did," I sigh "and I think I know who." I nod at the back of Justin's head.
"Hello mr Windsor, can I borrow Nikki Mulgrew and Bonnie Kincaid please?" Mr Fitzgerald says
"Yes, certainly," he says and then looks at us "girls."
we follow mr Fitzgerald to his office and when we open the door Lisa is sat on a chair holding a tissue up to her face, crying, pathetic. Also my mum and Miss Huchinson are standing in the corner. Me and Bonnie sit down on the two seats opposite Mr Fitzgerald's desk.
"What's this about?" I say
"It's about you two playing heartbreakers." Mr Fitzgerald says
"Did she tell you that?" Bonnie asks
"Didn't have to, I was given this note." He places a piece of paper on the desk and it says,

They want to make other girls look like fools,
Just ask poor Lisa,
She had no idea,
About what was happening to her.

"Hey that says nothing about me or Bonnie!" I say
"We asked Lisa and she told us her side, we want to hear yours." Mr Fitzgerald says
"Fine," I begin "Lisa was threatening me. So to get her back I payed Dale Jackson £25 to go out with her for two weeks then dump her in front of everyone. Then I gave him another £25 because he did it so well."
"Nikki Mulgrew! I didn't raise you up to have you to turn out like this!" Mum shouts
"Probably because you didn't raise me up." I say rolling my eyes
"Nikki, Bonnie cooler now, we will figure out how to deal with this later." Mr Fitzgerald says

Me and Bonnie walk to the cooler together.
"We need to get that bitch back twice as hard." I say
"Tell me about it." Bonnie says
"And we need to confront Justin, if he did this then he is going down with her," I say about to open the door for the cooler "put that video up ASAP."

A couple hours later my mum walks into the cooler and tells Bonnie to leave and she takes Mr Braxton's place at the front of the cooler.
"I don't believe you, Nikki," Mum says shaking her head "how did you turn out so vile?"
"Probably has something to do with you!" I shout standing up and pushing the desk away from me
"What do you mean?" She says
"You left me when I was five! Alone with dad, you missed everything, school assemblies, piano recitals, awkward convocations. The lot" I shout
"I have explained this to you." She shouts back
"Yeah but the thing is you didn't try to keep me safe. You cared about Connor but not me." I shout
"Go on and say it, I'm rubbish." She shouts
"No your more than that your crap and I hate you, you mean absolutely nothing to me," I shout and then suddenly mums hand is raised and I feel a sharp slap across my face "I only ever wanted to feel like someone loved me." I go to get out the cooler when mum stops me, I quickly wipe the tears from my eyes.
"We will talk later, back at the flat." She says
"No you can talk to Audrey at the flat because I won't be there." I shout storming out of the cooler and into the toilets luckily Bonnie was already there.

"Whoa, Nikki what happened." Bonnie asks
"My mother is what happened." I say
"What did she say?" Bonnie says
"No about what she said it's more about what she did." I say
"What did she do then?" Bonnie asks
i don't reply I just point to my cheek which is red and swollen.
"I can't live with my mum anymore." I say
"Come with me we are going to find Mrs Budgen she'll find you a place at the school house." Bonnie smiles and guides me to the home ec room where Mrs Budgen is.
"Miss, can Nikki have a place at the school house?" Bonnie asks
"Why pet? She already lives with Mrs Mulgrew." Maggie says
"I know, but she can't go back to her flat, Mrs Mulgrew hit her earlier." Bonnie says and I show her my cheek.
"I will have to get permission from Mrs Mulgrew and Mr Fitzgerald on this one but I will look into it." Mrs Budgen smiles
"Thanks miss." Me and Bonnie say together

"Right can we go and and find Justin?" I say. We find Justin sat with his little brother Leo in the canteen. We sit on the table with him.
"Why'd you do it? I told you what would happen if you told anyone." I say
"Tell them what?" Justin says
"You gave Lisa that note and also you father a different one." I say passing him the to bits of paper.
"You got what was coming to you." Justin sighs
"And in due course so will you," I say "just when I thought that we might be able to be be friends." I look at his face and he looks genuinely disappointed.
"Look, I'm sorry." He says
"Well, Sorry doesn't sweeten my tea, sunshine." I say getting up with Bonnie following behind.

Christine's pov
I'm in the staffroom when Maggie comes up to talk.
"Hi, Christine, your Nikki has asked for somewhere to stay for tonight, would it be alright if she stayed in the school house?" She says
"Sure, I will be glad of the break! She's a right handful." I smile walking away.

Nikki's pov
Maggie came and told me that I'd be staying in the school house tonight, which is great she said Bonnie can stay as well as long as we settle to sleep by 10 pm. My only problem is that, that bitch Lisa lives there! But hopefully a chance for a bit more revenge.
