Into The Woods

**after half term holiday**
Nikki's pov
So after two weeks of shopping with Bonnie, joking with Justin and avoiding Lisa it is time to return to school.
We are in the assembly hall waiting for Mr Fitzgerald to begin. The teachers are stood by the sides of the rows. I am sat in the middle of Justin and Bonnie on the front row. Eventually Mr Fitzgerald walks onto the stage.
"Welcome back to Waterloo Road," he smiled "I hope that we are going to have a great-" he gets cut off by the bang of the doors hitting the wall and load stomping footsteps, everyone turns their head to face whoever saved us from the same old assembly, but unfortunately it was Kenzie Calhoun.
"Justin Fitzgerald." She shouted
"What do you want?" He said
"You got me pregnant!" She scream and the whole room sat in shock. I didn't say a word but I looked at Justin and he turned to look at me.
"We need to go and speak in private," Mr Fitzgerald muttered gesturing for them to go with him, Kenzie and Justin trail behind and I get up and follow "Not you Nikki."
"No, I'm coming, he's my boy friend." I shouted and Mr Fitzgerald just sighed and we continued walking to his office.

"Ok first things first, how'd this happen?" Mr Fitzgerald asked
"The usual way I expect." Kenzie muttered
"This is not the time, Kenzie," Mr Fitzgerald muttered "seriously Justin how could you be that stupid?"
"Don't act like we planned this." He said
"What do you think Nikki?" Mr Fitzgerald asked and I looked to the side. What am I supposed to think? My boy friends ex girl friend is pregnant. I'm practically the evil step mother.
"It doesn't matter what she thinks it isn't her who's pregnant." Kenzie rolled her eyes
"She is his girl friend I think it does." Mr Fitzgerald said
"I think that she shouldn't have been so desperate to get with him and this all seems a little too coincidental." I smirked
"I wasn't desperate." She said
"Yes you were." Justin and I said at the same time
"How desperate?" Mr Fitzgerald asked
"Desperate enough to frame me for arson." I said
"Right, Kenzie how far along are you?" He said
"Four weeks." She said
"Kenzie stay here, Justin and Nikki go to class." He muttered

Justin and I walked in silence, for once I had nothing to say. I take the seat next to Bonnie and ignore stares from people sniggering about Justin and Kenzie.
"So it's true then, is it?" Scott laughed turning to me
"You know, you were there." I said
"Actually I wasn't, but tell me is it?" He asked
"Yes." I muttered, I didn't like the idea of having to tell people, but seeing as everyone overheard this morning there's no point trying to hide from it.
"Well we all know Justin would be one to knock up a girl, he's never without a girl friend." Gabriella laughed to Scott
"Well we all know you're sour because you didn't get to be his girl friend. You had to settle for him." I said and she shut up
"Hey, I wanted to go out with him." Bonnie whispered
"Honey, Scott is not worth your time." I whispered back

**break time**
"Hey Nikki!" Lisa shouted from afar I could see her stood with Shaznay
"What is it Lisa?" I asked
"Heard your boy friend has been sharing his sperm with another girl." She laughed
"Whilst we were broken up and that other girl is your friend." I said
"whatever," she smirked "Kenzie wait up!" Kenzie was just leaving the out the front door. Then Justin texts me:
"Kenzie just told me that she told my dad everything about what she did. She got expelled for 5 weeks.

I return my attention back to what's going on in front of me.
"Fuck off Lisa." Kenzie muttered as she walked passed her.
"Oops my bad that other girl isn't your friend." I smirked
"Fuck off as well Nikki." Kenzie yelled
"Just get your pregnant ass out of here." I yelled back

**end of school // at school house**
All of us were sat for dinner when there is a knock at the door, I get up and walk toward the door.
"Nikki whoever it is tell them to leave." Maggie laughed
"It's Justin, I'll be a minute." I smiled and walked out the front door and sat beside Justin on the step.
"Hey." He whispered
"Hi, how are you?" I asked
"Been better," he said "I'm just going to get to the point. When Kenzie has this baby I'm going to help her with it. Be a dad."
"She's keeping it?" I said
"I think so. I'm not going to leave that child without a father, I can't. I hate her but that child is mine." He muttered
"So what does this mean for us?" I whispered
"I'm not saying we should break up but maybe we just cool it for a while," He said "if she wasn't pregnant I swear I would kill her."
"I'd happily volunteer to through her under a bus," I laughed "pregnant or not."
"Look I have to go, we are having a family meeting, with Kenzie and her mum." He said
"Goodbye and let's hope that that baby gets none of her genes." I smiled
"Goodbye." He said walking down the steps and turning down the street.
