"Why did you do that?" I said, standing behind Brooke at her locker. She just glared back at me through the mirror stuck to the locker.
"Don't ignore me," I hissed. Brooke slammed her locker shut and walked away. I began to walk quicker and caught up with her. "Answer me."
"I've done a lot of things Nikki, you're going to have to be more specific." Brooke rolled her eyes.
"You know exactly what I mean. The fire." I said.
"Oh, that." She smirked, acting like she just realised.
"Are you going to apologise or something?" I asked.
"No, I don't think so." She smiled.
"Oh honey, you owe me so much more than an apology, you're getting off lightly." I shouted.
"I owe you nothing." Brooke whispered angrily.
"Oh, really?" I said, fumbling through the pocket in my blazer until I found a memory stick, "see this?"
"What are you going to do with that?" She asked.
"What do you think, dumbass?" I rolled my eyes.
"You wouldn't dare." She said.
"You think not? Sweetie, I've done much worse." I whispered.
"If you do I swear I-" Brooke started.
"You'll what? Set fire to me again? I can get that on tape too." I said
"Just get out of my face." She whined, walking away.
"I guess there's no apology then? Brooke, good bye. You're finished." I shouted.

I strolled into form and sat with Bonnie and Justin. I hadn't told them about this morning with Brooke or about what I planned to do. Something about the fire changed me, maybe it was the smoke and fire fumes or the near death experience, but I decided that high school isn't forever and there's not a lot of time to get one up on your foes. Hence the revenge game. Phase one.

"Earth to Nikki." Scott smiled.
"Oh, hi." I said.
"What are you thinking about?" Justin asked.
"Nothing really, just all the work I missed." I muttered.
"Unless you have a raging passion for Shakespeare, not much." Bonnie laughed.
"Can you two turn around a sec, I need to talk to Bonnie." I smiled, looking at Justin and Scott who then turned around.
"Bonnie, I need your help." I said.
"With what? What have you done?" Bonnie smiled.
"It's not about what I've done, it's more about what I'm going to do." I muttered.
"And that is?" She asked.
"Do you want to be my partner in crime?" I asked.
"Of course." She laughed.
"Ok then, school house, after school," I smiled "but before then I need to tell you something, about the fire."
"What?" She muttered.
"Brooke started it, intentionally. I'm not sure why but I think she wanted to kill me or hurt me or something, so Justin would break up with me." I said.
"No offence but what is the big whoop on Justin? Every girl you cross paths with is trying to get with him." Bonnie rolled her eyes.
"I believe there's a source behind it, I mean remember Tiffany? She was just a doll so Kenzie could snatch Justin." I said.
"And we all know Kenzie, master manipulator." Bonnie smiled.
"Exactly." I smiled back.

Instead of going straight to lesson, I decided to pay Mr Fitzgerald a visit. I walked through where Sonya was sat and knocked on the wooden door, not waiting to be told to go in I burst through.
"Nikki?" He said.
"Mr Fitzgerald, I have something I think you'd like to see." I said.
"Go on. I'm a busy man Miss Mulgrew." He muttered.
I reached for the memory stick and stuck it into his computer and loaded up the footage from the fire. It showed Brooke starting it, deliberately locking me and Justin inside, then returning to only save Justin; leaving me there to burn.
"Don't you see? This mad bitch-" I started.
"Language." He muttered.
"Sorry sir. This mad girl set out to try and kill me, deliberately. She saved Justin and left me to die!" I shouted.
"What am I supposed to do with this?" He asked.
"Turn that bitch, sorry girl to the police. Time in jail or some mental institute should solve her issues for attemptive murder and potentially actual murder." I stated.
"Who's murder?" He asked.
"Oh you know, Cassidy's mum. Anyone really." I muttered.
"Cassidy's mum committed suicide." He said.
"Oh really? Or was it murder carried out by one very vindictive eighteen year old bitch?" I muttered.
"What are you asking me to do? Kick her out? Turn her into the police?" He asked.
"I'm just saying as someone who cares very deeply about the welfare of the pupils of this school, Brooke being here could compromise their wellbeing and if the directors of education find out it could be good bye Waterloo Road." I said.
"You have no proof she killed anyone." Mr Fitzgerald pointed out.
"Talk to Cassidy Hills-North. She knows exactly what's going on with that physco ." I muttered leaving the room and slamming the door behind me.

I walked down the long corridors until I found the light blue door with the sign that read 'HISTORY' and I walked to the empty seat next to Bonnie, with Cassidy and Justin behind us.
"And where were you?" Miss McFall asked.
"With Mr Fitzgerald, miss." I said.
"Why?" Bonnie whispered.
"If Brooke thinks she's getting away with the fire, she has another thing coming," I muttered and then turned around to Cassidy, "you might have to convince Mr Fitzgerald that Brooke killed your mum, Brooke has to be taken out of here."
