"Come on Nikki it's time to go." Mum sighs and I get up to leave the cooler. We get into miss Mcfalls car.
"You don't even have your own car!" I say
"We didn't see the point in having two." Miss Mcfall says
"Whatever." I whisper. Great I'll be sleeping on a sofa and have that old woman in the car everyday.
We arrive at the apartment and yet again I'm disappointed. Grey walls, grey furniture, grey everything.
"God what is this fifty shades of grey furniture?" I sigh, surprisingly they both laugh.
"I'll get you some bedding for the sofa, call me Audrey." Audrey smiles, Audrey is the perfect name for an old historian like her.
Bonnie came around six and I invited her in.
"God the only thing worse than living with one of your teachers is living with two of them." I sigh
"Have you tried getting a place at the school house?" Bonnie asks
"No, what's that?" I say
"The place where all kids who don't live with their parents live." She says
"I'll try getting a place tomorrow," I smile "anyway about Lisa."
"Yeah what do you want to do." Bonnie says
"We got PE tomorrow?" I ask
"Yeah why?" Bonnie says
"Leave it to me." I smile
My mum and Audrey went to the pub with Mr Windsor so they wouldn't be back till later and Bonnie left a while ago. Suddenly my phone rings and I pick it up.
"Hi?" I ask
"Nikki, it's dad, how are things?" He asks
"Not great. Mum shares an apartment with an old moron teacher and I have to sleep on a sofa!" I shout
"Nikki, clam down, it'll be ok." Dad says
"No it won't daddy!" I shout "how's Sophia doing?"
"She's doing fine, her and Charlotte are getting on well." Dad says
"Sure, how are you?" I ask
"Sorry, Nikki I'll talk to you later, bye." And he hangs up
"Bye." I whisper and sit on the sofa.
