"I'm bored." Techno flopped into Wilbur's room.

"Well go practice your sword-fighting, duh."

"I'm tired of that, too. There's nothing new in this castle!"

"Nothing new, but are you sure there is no one new?"

"SKEPPYYYY" came Techno's shout and he ran from Wilbur's room.

--

"Fight me!"

Skeppy blinked. That was not the thing you'd expect to hear in the morning. "Why?"

"Because. I'm bored, and I want to fight you."

"Weapons?"

"Yes." Techno drew his sword. "Come, let's go to the sparring ring."

Skeppy found his battle ax and followed Pink Guy.

--

The sparring ring was, as its name suggested, a circle of grass encompassed by a ring of sand and then more grass. Randomly placed on the field surrounding the ring were dummies made of straw, most of them ripped up and barely standing.

"Did you do that?"

"Do what?"

Skeppy pointed at the straw figures.

"Oh yeah. Well, Philza also comes here, but mostly me."

"Wow. Sapnap just burns the dummies." the name reminded Skeppy of his predicament. He would have to marry someone he doesn't love. Someone he could never love. He went quiet.

Thank Techno's horrible people skills, the guy said nothing. He just walked into the ring, gesturing for Skeppy to join him.

Skeppy swung his ax first. Wood shaft thinly coated in diamond, it made sure a sword wouldn't just slash the head from the handle. The head was diamond, sharpened and never dulling, it was a formidable weapon.

Techno dodged, his sword high in the air as he jumped over the ax. Made out of diamond, it was also always sharp.

Tech countered with a slash down, sending the ax deep into the damp ground. Skeppy managed to yank it out in time to stop the sword from flying into his leg. Feinting to the left, he actually went in that direction. Although that didn't stop Techno for a second. Rightfully nicknamed 'The Blade', his sword twisted a confusing pattern through the air, slightly hypnotizing Skeppy until

"OW" they both shrieked. Skeppy because his ax was thrown violently from his grasp, and Techno... Techno because multiple sticks had hit and poked him repeatedly on the head.

"This is a SPARRING match! I wasn't going to kill him!"

A string flew out of the nearest dummy, drawing something in the air.

"Can't I even have a fight with someone without you all annoying me?!"

The string twisted into different shapes this time.

"I don't care that I'm supposed to be engaged to him! I was bored!"

The sticks formed a heart and Techno swatted them away.

String moved.

"No."

String didn't move.

"Still no, shut up."

After watching this one-sided conversation, Skeppy walked over to Techno, facing the string. Then he realized the weird shapes where letters in cursive.

"Apologize" was written in the air.

"You don't need to apologize. Better maybe teach me some sword fighting techniques."

"Great." muttered Techno. "Now I'm not only stuck with being engaged to you, I'm also stuck with teaching you swordsmanship."

"I was kidding! You don't actually have to do this!"

"Do you know how annoying the furniture will be if I don't comply? I've already woken up hanging from the ceiling. Would not recommend. Like, ever. Don't want to repeat, either."

Skeppy was silent for a couple seconds. "Yay! I'm getting sword lessons from the greatest swordsman in history! Besides Philza!"

"I beat him yesterday." deadpanned Techno.

"THE GREATEST SWORDSMAN IN HISTORY!!!"
