Myles POV
I needed to talk to my daughter today I need to know what's going on. Sylvia took Myles out Alex was working the twins weren't here and Ariana was also working it was almost her lunch break so I decided to take her out and talk about what the heck is going on with her.
I packed everything up and went in the car driving to her work her car was parked outside so she had to be here. I walked inside to the lady at the front desk "Hey can I see my daughter?" "Name?" "Ariana Parrish" "Oh yeah she's on her lunch here you go" She handed me a card and I smiled "Thanks"
I made it to Ariana and she was sitting at her office "Hey" I smiled knocking on the door she looked up and her eyes widened "Oh hey dad what's going on?" "I came to have lunch with my daughter" I raised my eyebrow "Oh yeah that's fine" She smiled nervously "Ariana what has been goin--" "Hey Ariana ready to go?" I look over and see Dave the fuckboy that hurt my daughter and shit it took a lot of strength to not punch him in the face
"Oh hi Mr Parrish" he stuck his hand out as if I was gonna shake it. I raised my head a little "Ariana isn't having lunch with you so leave" I pointed to the door and snapped as he ran "Dad-" Ariana stood up "What your gonna defend this little boy?" "Dad get over it that was years ago-" "That was five bruised ribs" I shook my head while explaining myself in a sarcastic tone.
She put her head down on her desk and I walked over and rubbed her back "I know what's going on Ariana and were gonna talk about it now get up and talk to me" "Okay Dr Phil" She rolled her eyes but smiled sitting up and resting her head on her hands "Here" I handed her her food and she smiled "Thank you"
"Okay so start explaining yourself" she sighed "I don't know what to tell you dad" she sighed "Okay let me start." She looked down and took a bite of her food "You're cheating on Alex with your old high school love you haven't been working overtime you have just been screwing around with him and that's why you went to get birth control" I put my finger down on the desk and looked at her
"Yeah you're right" she sighed "Dad I don't know what to do! it's like a trap I can't stop I can't leave him he just makes me feel so good! and --" "I know I know baby you want and need that love and affection because Alex isn't showing it to you but you can't play Alex like that baby girl you have a family with him"
tears rolled down her eyes "I know dad! everyday I wake up regretting what I did everytime I looked at our son I think of him ! I'm such a fuck up dad " she cried "Come here baby" I pulled her into my chest where she cried I rubbed her back and kissed the tip of her head
"I didn't come here to make you cry baby I came here to help you!" she pulled away and I wiped her tears with my thumb "I want everything to be back to normal" she wiped her eyes and sniffled "Okay baby girl and we can do that!" I smiled kissing her forehead "Thanks dad I love you I don't know what I would do without you again" he hugged me again and I smiled "I love you more"
Ariana POV
After my lunch my dad left and Dave came back "Whats going on?" he walked over sat down and rubbed my thigh "I don't need to talk about it with you" I moved his hands and scooted over typing on my computer "Ari what's going on? I thought you loved me" "I love my husband and my family and I'm not risking all that for you any longer" I looked him in the eyes and his mouth was slightly parted open
"If that's how you feel then okay" he stood up "I was engaged anyway" he scoffed and walked away I raised my eyebrow and widened my eyes smiling "I'm sure she'd love to hear about this right?" I smiled sarcastically "Do it I dare you" he walked back over "I'm sure Alex should know too right?" "Yeah he should that's why I'm telling him tonight" I smiled wide
"Fuck with me" He got super close to my face and I smiled spitting in his face his reaction was hilarious. "Get the fuck out of my life" I pushed him out of my office and locked my door returning to work
Home
I sighed and opened the front door walking inside I immediately see Myles "mommy!" he ran to me and I smiled picking him up and covering him in kisses as I walked over to the living room "Oh hey your home early" Alex said he was sitting on the couch. "Yeah I don't think I'll be late anymore" I smiled "I think we need to talk" I sat next to him and put Myles on my lap he nodded
"I really don't know how to phrase this" "Babe I don't wanna be fighting with you so whatever it is just spit it out so we can just live happily ever after" I sighed "I have been --" "Say it!" "I've been cheating on you" I finally said "Oh wow" he put his hand on his heart "The betrayal" he whispered slightly "After all I've done for you! this is how you repay me " "Alex I'm so sorry"
He burst out laughing and I was confused "What?" "You think I'm a dumb ass don't you?" he smiled leaned over to me "I knew this entire time!" "What? How" "I know you like the back of my hand and I knew you were gonna end up telling me" he smiled "I hate you what the Fuck!" I smiled a little and he leaned in kissing my lips I felt the spark that we've always had. I'm so blessed to be able to have two amazing men in my life my father and Alex.
