Part 21 Saving Wendy From Face

Romeo and Eve landed on there feet and started to look around.

"Well that was unexpected" Romeo said looking up.

"Indeed but we're fine and so are they" Eve said as the two of them heard fighting outiside.

"Its your friends are kicking butt out there" Eve said making Romeo smile.

"Yeah thats what I like to hear pow pow, pow pow pow pow" Romeo said mimicking punches.

"Your such a kid" Simon said shaking his head.

"Hey Eve you still owe me for knocking me out!" Romeo said.

"Are you kidding I helped you beat Jackel-"

"Come here-" Romeo said putting eve an headlock.

"AH GET OFF ME YOU KNUCKLE HEADED BASTARD!"

"WOMENIZER"

"PURPLE NURPLE"

"BLONDE BAKA!"

Amid there insults they stopped when they noticed the walls around them cracking. Romeo letting and looking around.

Thats when Tempester dropped down infront of the two along with 7 other faceless demons that seemed to do his bidding.

Romeo chuckled.

"Nice getting the band together huh?" He said as Eve massaged his nose.

"What Evil Lurks... I must destroy"

"I thought that was the plan anyways" Romeo said taking out his sword while Eve made an ice cane, the two stood side by side to each other, even if they were just bickering a moment ago, thats true friendship right there.

The room they were in dethatched itself from the main base and they began slidding down, sliding down a mountain, whilst fighting the demons inside. Romeo didn't know this at the time but this actually worked in his favor as the mountian they were sliding under was bringing him closer and closer to Where Wendy fought Ezel.

As the two were done fighting the demons, Eve stopped moving as did everything around Romeo. Time itself was frozen for everyone except him.

"Your mother's spatial magic sure comes in handy. It's no wonder why your able to move. Then again we're one in the same you and I" A.R.C said appearing from thin air.

Romeo got an angry scowl in his eyes.

"You! what do you want?" Romeo said ready to deck this guy if he tried anything.

"Time outside this cube has been frozen for quite some time now even when you were fighting Jackel. Nothing in the outside world moved. You can thank Ultear for that" A.R.C said holding a book that was once in her possession

"I just thought you should know that your friend Wendy is attempting to stop face all by herself. I tried to warn you earlier but it seems like your no good with birds"

"So that was you huh? What the hell is face anyways?"

"That needn't matter, what you should know is that Wendy will most likely resort to nuking it. Resulting in her death"

"What!? Oh hell no!"

"That council member Mest, he's the one who left your guild to die you know. Back on tenro"

"I beg your pardon?" Romeo questioned.

"He could've warned your friends about Agnologia but instead he ran with his tail between his legs. And now he wants to go save Wendy. As what? A way to make up for his sins? Are you going to let that dirt bag save someone who's not in his guild while you sit here helpless again? All for some inappropriate fondness he has for her?" A.R.C asked.
