Today Vaani was going to meet Vikrant in the morning itself. Her mom had gone back to their village as Vaani's dad had fallen sick and couldn't stay alone.

Vikrant had told her that he would be picking her up near her home so she got ready and waited for him at the corner. In reality, Vaani did not wish to face him soo soon after what had happened a few days back. Right when she was about to change her mind, Vikrant stopped his car next to her.

Taking a deep breath harshly, she opened the door and sat inside not bothering to look at the man next to him. If she could she would completely avoid him.

"Let's just drive around the airport road, where we can talk properly," He said when he saw that he would not be getting any kind of word out of her easily.

"I have lots of work pending that needs to be taken care of but this is more important. I know we keep having misunderstandings between us--"

"It's you that misunderstands everything" Vaani cut him off rudely before he could finish his sentence. She was very anxious about sitting next to him but did not want to show him any kind of reaction. They had stopped on a nonbusy road.

"Yeah ok, see I don't want anyone else coming between us. I can't do any other work when my mind is occupied or If I have a problem. I need to solve this before anything else." Vikram continued not bothered by her words.

"I don't know what to tell you anymore. You have trust issues and what you said was unacceptable." Vaani whispered, recalling his exact words. They were stuck in her mind.

"I am sorry about that Vaani, seriously I am. I... I get angry sometimes and don't know what I am saying, but I regret ever saying those words to you" he confessed groaning in frustration, taking Vaani's hand in his.

But Vaani, pulls her hand back roughly, not wanting to be touched as it made her skin crawl due to the anger that was still brewing inside her. More than anger, she was disappointed in the kind of relationship she was having with him. She wanted a happy marriage.

"Please, don't touch me," Vaani said, folding her hands in front of her. "The words you called me... I just...."

"I know, you don't understand how I feel, I was angry and I really regret it now," He said regretfully still trying to take Vaani's hand in his.

"You called me advanced... What have I ever done to be called like that? and what if I am? you just can't say anything you feel like whenever you are angry" she said, feeling drained out. Vaani always felt drowsy whenever she was very stressed and she was feeling too much of it now.

"I shouldn't have said it, please forget it" he pleaded finally managing to hold her hand as she had let him. She did not want to drag this on anymore.

"I want a happy marriage and if this continues then..." Vaani trailed of not able to voice out her fears.

"No, no. Nothing like this will happen as long as we don't talk about him" Vorant offers admitting his insane jealousy which would one day destroy his life.

"I just tell you things truthfully which you don't believe and I am tired of proving things to you. You told me that you had a girl running behind you to marry you just because you gave her a referral, I could have doubted you and asked you things If I really wanted, but did I?. I don't care about your past, I never cared for anyone's past as long as they are not going to hurt me now or in the future, I don't care and you shouldn't as well" she shared her thoughts openly as she didn't care about his past even if he had a girlfriend or not.

"You can trust me, I don't have any such things to hide," He said with seriousness, which Vaani chose to ignore. "but why wouldn't you care about my past?" He asked her.
