It was Loki's birthday. Olesia had been up for about an hour, preparing food and ensuring tonight was perfect. She had made him eggs, bacon, and cut up fruits. Seeing as how thats all they ate, it was a go to.
Olesia wasn't sure how Loki would react to the party tonight. She knew he loved to be in the spotlight, to be worshiped. But this was a small party, or it was supposed to be. Who knows what her dad would do now.
She knew some of the Avengers still didn't trust or like him. It's understandable, but it's his birthday and she all but hoped it would go well. She wanted him to feel special and wanted, and if it was anything else.
She'd be pissed.
Pouring creamer into his coffee, she placed his food on a tray. His plate of food in the middle, a small bowl of fruit next to it, and his coffee on the other side. Utensils were placed along the bottom.
Moving through the apartment, she takes a bite of his bacon, she pushed open the door. As the door opened it creaked slightly, Loki squinted his eyes. Slowly waking up, he took in his girl.
She was wearing silk green pyjama bottoms and a thin grey tank top.
He was still blown away by the fact that she is all his, and that she loves him. If he actually thought about it, aside from Frigga, he had never been loved by a woman. He'd thought he had, but he hadn't. Everyone wanted his wealth, and Olesia didn't seem to care about the money.
She liked nice things, but she wouldn't ask for them, or point them out. She'd wait until she was gifted something, unless it was something she wanted badly. Then she would tell Loki all about it.
He watched as she began walking towards him food in hand, but then he frowned slightly.
"Have you eaten?" He asked, she rolled her eyes.
"It's your birthday. We're focusing on you." She replies, Loki sighs.
"I need to know you ate darling." He says to her, she places the food in front of him.
"I did. Now eat." She says, Loki hesitates for a moment before eating his food.
Olesia moved to the other side of the bed, sitting next to him, and drinking her own coffee. Loki sat and ate happily while she watched, she was too excited to give him his gift. Loki remembered she dropped her block, and if he wanted he could find out what she got him. But he fought it, he wanted to be part of the surprise.
The two became fairly comfortable around each other, helping the other when they're sick, talking about insecurities, and talking about their problems. Something Loki was never good at, which he has yet to admit.
Olesia fidgeted with her fingers while she waited for him to finish. She was way too excited for the smallest gift, she found one of the greatest ever. He noticed and finished quickly, then looked to her. Olesia smiled as she stood up and walked to the closet.
She pulled out three boxes, one large one, a smaller one and a very small box. All black and wrapped with a green ribbon. She walked over giddily and handed him the boxes, sitting in front of him.
He went biggest to smallest.
In the largest box was a all black suit, with a dark green tie and a matching green pocket square. Loki smiled approvingly of the outfit, then opened the second largest box. In this box was a book, it was Norse Mythology.
Loki looked at it curiously and did a quick look through, seeing all the gods and them himself. On the same page was a small note.
Take me to Asgard, show me the sights?
