"What did you find?" Hoseok stated as he entered Jimin's office, taking a seat before the younger doctor's desk.

Jimin slid a folder towards his medical colleague to look over as he spoke, "I contacted the orphanage Jungkook grew up in to learn which pediatrician they used for the kids in their care. I contacted the pediatric office to gain Jungkook's childhood medical records," he nodded toward the file Hoseok currently held, "Apparently Jungkook had reportedly bled anally in his adolescent years and was seen by the orphanages regular physician, who checked him for internal injuries with a Sonogram, as they believed the bleeding was due to the harsh bullying he received, which was true. Needless to say he was just as surprised as we were by what he also found."

Hoseok shook his head, "Obviously they found out about Kook's condition when he was brought in for bleeding anally. Why didn't they remove the female organs then? But even more so, having decided not to remove them, why didn't they tell Jungkook of his condition?"

"The doctor found a single ovary, the small, seemingly malformed uterus and the tiny tube that linked them to the lower bowel. All the tests performed showed that the female organs were non-functional, with only the male organs working. As for why the ovary wasn't removed," Jimin sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "I was able to get in touch with Mrs. Hwang, who ran the orphanage and was with Jungkook when the discovery was made.

After vaguely explaining the situation, I asked why she, as Kookie's guardian at the time, didn't have the organ removed, she said they couldn't afford it. The insurance they received was limited to check ups and minor injuries and illnesses. We both know this surgery would've been expensive."

Hoseok nodded in understanding, "Did she say why she didn't tell him?"

"The doctor told her the organ didn't work and therefore wouldn't interfere in his everyday life or health, plus he was already dealing with enough stress and bullying for being an orphan and...girly at school, she didn't want to add to it, especially when nothing could be done and it didn't work anyway."

"Well, it's working now." Hoseok said.

After a lengthy discussion, the two doctors stood up and left the office, walking along the corridors in the direction of the hospital section of the medical wing. Jimin's mind went over the many different ways in which he could break the news to Jungkook. This was going to be one of the hardest things he had ever had to do.

Jungkook's eyes opened and sleepily looked around the room. He smiled as his eyes alighted on his partner and lover.

"Hey, Bear," he said softly, his voice music to Tae's ears.

Taehyung's mouth lifted into a smile as he quickly lifted himself from his chair and moved to the bed. He embraced Jungkook, lowered his lips to his lover's and kissed him soundly.

Jungkook pulled away from the kiss with flushed cheeks and a shy smile. Tae chuckled as he carefully assisted Jungkook to sit up; fluffing the pillows behind him and making sure he was comfortable. A low growl came from Jungkook and Taehyung looked questioningly at him as he sat on the edge of the bed and took Kookie's hand in his.

"Sorry hyungie. I guess I'm a little hungry."

"I brought you something." Taehyung fished inside his jacket pocket and pulled out the S'mores bar.

Jungkook's eyes melted as he looked adoringly at the golden wrapper. "Hyungie, thank you, thank you, thank you! You're the best, Bear, I love you so much!"

Taehyung chuckled and handed over the confection. Jungkook immediately tore open the wrapper and took a bite. His eyes closed in bliss as he savored the taste upon his tongue; his face contorted in rapture as the treat tickled his taste buds and sent him into seventh heaven.
