Winter says, "What part of her past are you talking?" Castiel walks up to both of them and puts his fingers on their head. As Dean is in the year 1973, Castiel brings Liz and Winter to the year 1979. The year Liz be came adopted. Liz and Winter look around and see the time cars and Winter says, "So, he zapped us where exactly?" Liz says, "I think the question is when are we?" Liz and Winter find a newspaper and Liz widens her eyes and says, "It's the day I was born." Winter says, "Maybe Castiel sent us to before you were adopted by grandpa." Liz says, "Yeah and I see my mother and why she didn't take care of me. On the note, that they found in the basket I was in it had my name, birthday, and hospital I was born in." They walk to a car rental and rent a car. Liz parks the car outside the hospital and Winter says, "So, were gonna stake out and wait to find a woman carrying a baby and then what?" Liz says, "Then were going to follow her." Winter nods and they wait a while. Liz orders pizza and they eat while waiting. Then after a while, Liz sees a woman with a cloak walking out the hospital with a baby. Liz says, "Okay it's time." Liz slowly follows behind the woman. Liz and Winter get out and sneakily follow her down an alley. The woman walks to a man outside a farmers market. Liz does a spell, so she can hear them. The man with a Scottish accent says, "Mother, did you steal a baby?" The woman also has a Scottish and says, "No, dear, she's mine child." The man says, "What's the pointing of telling me you haven't seen me since I was eight." The mother says, "I know. I just couldn't afford raising a young child like yourself." The man says, "Are you going to take care of this little one?" The woman says, "Of course. I just need to get some food for her. I'll be right back dear." The woman hands the baby girl to her son and goes into the farmers market and the man waits quite a while and Liz realizes she just ditch's her. The man sighs and says, "Bollocks. She did it again." The man looks down at his sister and says, "Our mother is the worst. I don't even know why she got pregnant again, if she was going to leave." The man finds a basket and note. The man puts her in and says, "Sister, I'm sorry this word isn't safe if I take care of you." The man then takes his sister and to a house that he knows they can't have a family. The man grabs a pen from his jacket pocket and writes down a name for his sister. The has a soft smile and looks at his baby sister and says, "Maybe someday I could meet you, when you grow up to be a smart young woman." The man places his sister on the porch and knocks on the door and runs away. Liz and Winter walk back to the car and Liz has a sad face and softly cries. Winter brings her mother into a hug and rubs her back. Liz says, "My mother left me and didn't care. My brother. I have a brother, but he gave me away to protect me." Winter says, "At least now we know what they look like. They both have Scottish accents, your mother has red hair and your brother is short and dresses fancy." Liz says, "Yeah." Castiel then appears and Liz says, "Thank you for showing me why I was abandoned." Castiel says, "You could have changed the past if you wanted to why didn't you." Liz says, "If I changed the past then I wouldn't have my family I do now. Winter wouldn't be born. I've always wanted to know why my parents couldn't take care of me, now I know why. I just don't understand how my fathers Lucifer." Castiel says, "That's a story for another time, right now there is a big problem." Liz and Winter are confused and Castiel brings them back to their hotel room. Dean knocks the door and Winter opens the door and Dean walks in to see Castiel. Liz says, "What's the problem?" Castiel says, "It's Sam, he's going down a dangerous path." Liz, Winter, and Dean get into the car to find Sam.

When Dean was in 1973, he wanted to change the past and he didn't care about not knowing Liz, Bobby, and Winter. He was being a little selfish and then Castiel tells him that Dean can not change his destiny.
