Chapter 11: "Family Remains"

Sam's in the back laying down and Liz and Winter are up front with Dean. Sam groans and says, "What are you guys doing?" Dean says, "What's it look like we're doing?" Sam says, "Like you're looking for a job." Dean says, "Yahtzee." Sam says, "We just finished a job like two hours ago." Dean says, "Adrenaline's still pumping I guess. Liz you find anything?" Dean looks over at Liz to see her and Winter looking at a security feed on her computer. Dean places a hand on her thigh and says, "Hey, what are you guys doing?" Winter says, "Looking a hospital feed and trying to find the woman who abandoned mom." Dean nods and says, "Okay." Liz is chewing on her lip and Dean looks back at Sam and says, "So, what do you think... Cedar Rapids, Tulsa, or Chi-town?" Sam says, "I am all for working. I really am. But you got us chasing cases nonstop for like a month now. We need sleep." Dean says, "Ah, we can sleep when we're dead." Sam says, "You're exhausted, Dean." Dean says, "I'm good." Sam says, "No, you're not. You're running on fumes, and you can't run forever." Dean says, "And what am I running from?" Sam says, "From what you told us. Or are we pretending that never happened?" Dean says, "Stratton, Nebraska -- Farm Town. A man gets hacked to death in a locked room inside a locked house. No signs of forced entry." Winter says, "Sounds like a ghost." Dean says, "Yes, it does." Sam lays back down to rest. Dean looks back at Liz and says, "You find anything?" Liz sighs and says, "I called the hospital for the footage. All I'm seeing is her in a cloak walking with a baby in her arms. I asked for the woman's named and all they said was her initials." Dean says, "Okay. What are her initials?" Liz says, "R.M." Dean says, "Okay, you kind of have a clue?" Liz says, "Yeah, it's not much, but I guess it's something. I don't why I'm trying to find her. She clearly didn't care about me or my brother." Dean nods and says, "You want to find her, because you want to know why she couldn't take care of you." Liz says, "Yeah." Liz leans her head on Dean's shoulder and Dean kisses her forehead. Later, they arrive to the house that is haunted by a ghost and find out a family is moving in. They then go question Mr. Gibson's maid. They go back to the house to find that the family is back there. Then they go in the house to tell the family to leave and then the lights go out. The men go outside looking for Buster and Liz and Winter stay with the mom, daughter, and the son. The ghost slashed the Impala's tires and took all their weapons. Everyone then goes back inside the house. Sam and Winter go check out the attic. Liz and Dean stay with the family. Everyone's in the salt circle and a door opens with a girl coming out of it. They find out Rebecca's not a ghost and Liz uses her powers to throw her against the wall. The girl shields her eyes from Liz's bright powers and runs away. They find out Danny's missing. Winter stays to protect the mom and daughter in the shed. Liz goes off on her own to find Danny. Later, they find out Ted is dead. They find out the girl in the walls is Rebecca's daughter. Dean then goes down the dumbwaiter to find Danny. Winter is with the mom and daughter and she puts up a shield around them, so the girl doesn't come in. The daughter says, "What are you?" Winter says, "I'm a witch." The daughter smiles and says, "Cool." Winter says, "Yeah it is." Meanwhile, Liz, Sam, and the dad pull Danny up. Back with the girls, the girl gets into the shed and Winter fights the girl and then the girl gets dragged away and they hear the girl getting killed. They find out the dad killed the girl. After everything is over, the family thanks them and they leave. Later, they get a bite to eat and Winter's resting in the car. While, Liz, Dean, and Sam are outside and Dean talks about that he enjoyed torturing souls and that he can't change this hole in him not ever.
