Chapter 5: "Monster Movie"

They are on a case and they think it's vampires. They walk over to the sheriff. Sam says, "Sheriff Dietrich." The sheriff says, "Are you the people from the fed?" Sam says, "Agents Angus, Young, and Knight. We called ahead about your, uh, problem." The sheriff says, "Right. Um... I'll tell you what, why don't we talk this out away from the crowd, huh?" They go to the morgue and the sheriff says, "Marissa Wright, 26, just up from Lockhard for the 'fest. Terrible. Just terrible. It's the last thing this town needs at peak tourist season." Sam says, "Definitely the last thing Marissa Wright needed." Dean says, "What the hell?" The sheriff says, "Yeah, you got me -- I mean, this killer's some kind of grade-"A" wacko, right? I mean, some Satan-worshipping, Anne Rice-reading, gothic, psycho vampire wannabe." Liz says, "Sheriff, in your report, you mentioned a witness." The sheriff says, "Yeah, I wished I didn't. But our witness insisted. That's Ed Brewer. Not exactly what you'd call reliable." They then go to a bar and walk up to a male bartender. Liz says, "We're looking for Ed Brewer." The male bartender says, "What do you want with Ed?" Dean says, "Well, we are, uh... federal agents. Mr. Brewer was a witness to a serious crime. We just --" The male looks flirty at Liz and says, "Your too pretty to be a Fed." Liv softly smiles and Dean doesn't look happy and Sam smirks at Dean's face. Dean clears his throat and says, "Where can we find Mr. Brewer?" They then find Ed, but he says he saw Dracula. They go back in the bar and sit down. Dean says, "So, what do you guys think? Goth, psycho vampire wannabe, right?" Sam says, "Definitely not our kind of case." Dean says, "Agreed. But who cares? Rooms paid for, and it's Oktoberfest. Come on, guys. Beer, lots and lots of beer. Guys, Oktoberfest." The male bartender gives Liz a beer and Liz says, "Oh, I didn't order this." The male bartender says, "It's on me beautiful." Liz smiles and looks at his name tag and says, "Thanks, Justin." Justin nods and looks to the guys and says, "Anything for you guys?" Dean glares at Justin and says, "I'll take a beer." Sam says, "Me too." Justin nods and walks away. Sam says, "Someone already has a crush on you." Liz rolls her eyes and says, "He is sweet." Dean is jealous and thinks that now's a good time to finally ask Liz out. Dean says, "It is time to right some wrongs." Sam says, "Come again?" Dean says, "Look at me. I came back from the furnace without any of my old scars, right? You know, bullet wounds, knife cuts, none of the off-angled fingers from all the breaks. I mean, my hide is as smooth as a baby's bottom, which leads me to conclude, sadly... that my virginity is intact." Liz softly laughs and Sam says, "What?" Dean says, "I have been re-hymenated." Sam says, "Re --" Sam laughs and says, "Please. Dean, maybe angels can pull you out of hell, but no one could do that." Dean says, "Brother, I have been re-hymenated. And the dude will not abide." Sam says, "All right, dude. Well, you go do whatever you got to do, and I'm gonna go back to the room and get some sleep." Sam leaves and as Liz is about to leave, Dean says, "Wait, Liz?" Liz stays and says, "Yeah?" Dean gulps and says, "Uh, why don't you stay with me?" Liz says, "I thought you were going to go find a girl and get it on?" Dean softly smiles and says, "No, there is a girl, but that girl is you. Listen Liz, I have had feelings for you these past few years and I was always to chicken to ask you out, so will you go out with me?" Liz softly smiles and says, "Yes, I'll go out with you." Dean smiles and Liz stays.  They both drink beer together and Liz says, "So, does that mean you we're jealous of Justin?" Dean groans and says, "Yeah, you did say he was sweet." Liz smiles and says, "I did, but I don't know if he's getting the hint." Dean says, "I can make him get the hint." Liz says, "I can handle my own." Dean says, "That's one of the reasons why I like you." Liz smiles. The next day, they go interview a woman named Anne Marie and she says a werewolf killed her boyfriend. They then go to the morgue and find out the boyfriends are is still there, so maybe it's not a werewolf. They're all confused. They go back to the bar and eat. Justin serves them beer and Justin flirty says, "So, it looks like you're staying awhile. You doing anything tonight?" As Liz is about to say something, Dean cuts in and says, "Sorry, she's busy tonight." Justin ignores Dean and Liz says, "Um I can't tonight. I have paper work to do. Maybe another time." Justin nods and walks away. Sam says, "Wait, you just turned down sweet Justin?" Liz says, "Yeah, he is sweet, but I like someone else." Liz looks at Dean and Sam follows and says, "Oh." Liz looks at Dean and says, "I handled it." Dean says, "Yeah, but you did give him hope for another time." Liz says, "We'll be out of here before then." Dean nods and holds her hand. Dean says, "Let's go out again tonight." Liz says, "Okay." Later, Liz is getting ready to go out with Dean.
