Chapter 10: Breaking point

It's been an hour since the group had held each other ever so tightly. They were now in the cat's ass partying, dancing, singing and lots of laughing.

JJ was sitting in the corner with Kie next to him and they were smoking a blunt. Pope was directly opposite on the other side. He can't look at the two of them and was spending a lot of his time talking to Sarah and John B.

"I'll be back I'm going to get the camera for some cute pics." Kie says as she gives JJ the blunt and makes her way inside the chateau. JJ's eyes haven't left her body and he is blushing like crazy.

"Looks like someone is in loveeee" Sarah said in a high pitch voice which made his eyes roll

"Yeah well you are also in loveeee" He says back to her which made John B laugh. Pope didn't laugh or smile at anything that was going on right in front of his eyes.

"So J tell me. What's it like dating the queen of the pogues" John B asks as he props his head in his hand looking at JJ giving him a goofy smile.

"Why do we always have to talk about Kie" Pope blurts and the rest of the group looks at him confused.
"All I ever hear is, 'Kie are you ok' 'OMG JJ and Kie' blah blah blah. We all know that Kie just likes to go through all the guys so I'm just waiting for her to break JJ's heart, It honestly gonna happen any day now. Look dude why do you even like her she is just a big fat slut."

"Woah Pope wtf" John B says walking over to him with his hand out grabbing his arm.

"Get off me" Pope squirms away and as he turns he see Kie standing in the door way of the chateau with tears in her eyes.

"what?" she says so quietly that they are only just able to hear her. Pope doesn't say anything he just looks at her with guilt written all over his face.

Kie puts the camera down, gently, on the old dusty couch sitting on the porch and walks down the steps. She grabs her oversized jumper that was sitting on the edge of the cat's ass and begins to run, faster than she ever has. She doesn't stop.

"Kiara wait-" Sarah says as she hops out of the hot tub and runs after her.

JJ doesn't say anything he just looks down at the warm water splashing against his legs. And the blue flashing lights reflecting on his body.

"Dude I'm sorry I was ju-" Pope starts but is immediately cut off by JJ.

"Why? Tell me why you have the right to say that. You said you were cool with us being together. Look man I know it sucks that it didn't work out for you two but she has been so worried that you hate her and it killed her to break things of for you to, you are her best friend and I can't tell you how many times she was scared that you were going to leave her. She has always put you, us before herself. Risking everything with her parents, just to keep our dumbass's happy and safe. She just wants to be happy, these past 2 months have really been a toll on her. Now you go out and call her a slut? You know what save it" JJ said as he stormed off.

"John B were are the keys to the twinkie? I'm going to go look for Kie and Sarah." JJ asked John B as he put on his read hat.

John B didn't say anything and just pointed over to the little table on the porch. JJ picked up the keys and drove off.

(Kiara's POV)

I was running until my legs gave out. I didn't care where I just couldn't be in that room. I couldn't let them see me break down again. That's just embarrassing. I didn't realize that Sarah was still right behind me. Of course she was, I'm not even surprised. We definitely had so many problems in the past but now it's as if they had just flown out the window. She was always gonna be there with me not matter what the situation she would be there and this proves it.
