Chapter 14: Sirens

!WARNING: Abuse & Violence!

(CONTINUING FROM WHERE WE LEFT OFF....)

(Kiara's POV)
We walked in and she was gone... AGAIN. I turned to JJ and Sarah and they looked shattered.

I walked around the house and sat at the dinner table. I had my head in my hands thinking about what the next step was. I looked up and saw a note on the table with JJ and Sarah's name on it. I picked it up and read it to myself. I quietly got up and walked over to JJ, I placed the note in front of him. He looked confused and nervous.
"i love you" the words came out of my mouth easily and he gave me a smile before saying
"i love you too"

He took a deep breath and then read to himself:
'Sarah JJ,
I am so sorry, I really wanted to stay but Ward found me he threatened me so I told him I would leave. Please don't be mad because I will be returning in 3-4 days. Im just going to get new ID and new passport. I'm not going to leave you again ok?
I'll be back soon.

- Mom.'

Sarah came over and JJ gave the note to her. They both let a breath of relief.
"Wait Wards in OBX?" Sarah said which made us all realize the Cameron's are probably looking for her.

"UGHHHH why can't we go back to smoking weed and drinking beers all day on the HMS pogue." Everyone agreed with me. For some reason I got a hint of motivation and decided that me, Kiara motherfucking Carrera was gonna make a speech and brighten up the mood.

"You know what, I am so sick of this shit. We have all pretty much lost everything we have ever had. Gold, gone. Cross, gone. My family, gone. John B's dad, gone. Sarah and her family, pretty much gone. JJ's family also pretty much gone. But we're still here. I just wanna go back to like 2 months ago when life was simple. What did we fucking do to deserve this. Ok maybe me cause I can have a temper and can act like a spoilt bitch BUT none of you deserve any of this. You are the greatest people I know and i'm not going to let the rest of the world ruin us. So let's not let it ruin us. For god sake we're pogues, we don't do this shit. We live our lives to the fucking fullest. I wouldn't wanna do it with any one else." she finished and so shocked by her own words she wiped a tear that had fallen under her eye.

Everyone was smiling and they pulled each other for a group hug, Kie pulled away and put her hand into the middle of them.

Everyone smiled putting there hands in

Few hours had passed and Kie & Sarah went to the beach to just have a breather after everything they've been through and to just have a moment to relax.

John B and Pope were at the chateau and JJ stayed at home cooking dinner.

(Rafe's POV:)

I was walking along the beach when I saw Sarah and Kiara. I told Kie I would hurt her if she didn't give me Sarah. But I think I should mess with them a bit I just don't know how.
I'll just listen in on what there saying.

"How are things going with you and J?" Sarah asked Kie
What the fuck does she mean how are things going? Does she have a crush on him? Does he have a crush on her?

"There going really good."
"Have you guys uh, you know um"
"Done it?"
"Yeah have you?"
"Yes we have but shhh don't say anything to anyone."

Oh shit so they are dating. Kiara Carrera stooped so low to go for the obx trash JJ fucking Maybank. I think I have an idea.

(JJ's POV)
Honestly what we're the rest of the pogues thinking to leave ME to cook the food. Better not be complaining when everything is goddam burnt.

* KNOCK KNOCK

"come in" I yelled out to who I thought was JB at the door.

"sup JJ how you been?"
Rafe walked through, this fucker put hands on her. He just stepped into the war zone.

"Hey Daddy's Boy"
Bingo.

He flew towards me ready to throw the first punch I dodged and hit hard on his back which made him fall to the floor. Before I could do anything he grabbed my feet and dragged me down on the ground. He sat on top of me and pinned me down.
Punch after Punch after Punch. Each one being harder than the last. I felt numb, to weak to fight back. I could taste the blood in my throat as I began to choke on it. Everything went blurry and fuzzy.
I was about to pass out when Rafe stood up and I could barely hear him say.
"Tell Kie I'll see her soon and this time it won't be just a bruise."
That was the last thing I remember before I black out.

(Kie's POV:)
Sarah dropped me back off at JJ's while she went back to the chateau.
I saw smoke coming out of the house and ran immediately thinking JJ has burnt dinner. I walked in and turned the stove off that was in fucking fire. Grabbed the fire extinguisher that was under the bench and put it out.
"JJ? What the fuck were you doing?" I yelled out.
No response.
"JJ!"
Silence again.
It still had a fair bit of smoke in the room so I couldn't really see.
I walked over to open the window that was in the living room when I tripped on something that was on the floor.
"HOLY SHIT JJ!"
He was unconscious and covered in blood.
Was it Ward? Topper? Kelce?....
Rafe.
"J- PLEASE WAKE UP"

*FLASHBACK
"J stay with me."
My body was tired from carrying both our weights in the water.
"John B's coming! John B's coming ok! JOHN B! HELP!!"

*BACK TO PRESENT
I checked his pulse, it was still there but it was really weak. Shit shit.
The smoke was pretty much faded so I ran around looking for a phone or something to dial 911.
Then I heard a police car going by.
"I'll be right back ok your going to be ok J!"
I ran outside as fast I could and stood in front of the car begging it would stop. Shoupe slammed the brakes and got out.
"Kiara what the hell are y-"
"Shoupe please it's JJ he's inside please hurry he's dying."
I was now trembling and shaking. Tears streaming down my face.
I stayed on the floor holding his hand and stroking his hair.
"Don't you dare fucking leave me ok? You can't leave me JJ!"
In less then 2 minutes the ambulance pulled up. I got inside with him as they took him to the hospital. Shoupe came with me as well.
"Shoupe can you or someone get John B, Sarah and Pope please their at the John B's place."
"I'll get one of the officers to go down and get them ok Kie?"
"Thank you Shoupe" I tried to give him a smile through all the tears that I was crying.
