Out of nowhere, Mr Zhongli, the History teacher, comes in. He whispers something to Mr Childe. Keqing and Ganyu notice him whisper something back and watch as Mr Zhongli turns positively crimson and briskly walks away, with Mr Childe left smirking and giggling at him. "They're dating, aren't they?" whispers Ganyu. "Probably," replies Keqing, chuckling.
The class go up to the trampolines in the gym room, as Mr Childe puts us into groups of four. Keqing and Ganyu find themselves paired up with Hu Tao and Yanfei, the class pranksters.
"Hey! Ganyu, Keqing, you're with us!" shouts Hu Tao, waving at us frantically. "Sorry she's so excited about these things, Taotao is always hyperactive," sighs Yanfei, before smiling at us. "Hey! Come on, Fei, don't be like that. Anyways, she can go first," says Hu Tao, holding the adeptus, causing her to flush at Hu Tao's hands wrapped around her waist.
Yanfei bounces lightly on the trampoline, and performs her signature move, Done Deal, causing four Scarlet Seals to pop up around the girl. She starts to jump, and bounces higher and higher until she's way up in the air, and begins to flip, the Scarlet Seals letting out sprays of intense flames alongside her, creating a visually stunning performance, before landing perfectly in a T - shaped pose, to keep her balance. "Impressive, Yanfei! I see those gymnastics classes you go to are truly doing wonders for you!" exclaims Childe, clapping. Keqing glances over at Hu Tao, and the bright white flowers that are her pupils are positively blooming in her eyes as she hugs Yanfei hard and whispers congratulatory endearments.
"Pfft, looks like they'll be stuck there for a while. Keqing, wanna go next?" asks Ganyu. "Sure!" replies Keqing, and clambers onto the trampoline. She hurls a Lightning Stiletto halfway in the air, and begins to jump as well. Once she's gained enough height, she starts to twist, perfectly in control of her body, and when she's about to land, her leg twists a little, causing her to lose control and Ganyu yelps, worried that she may fall, but she swiftly blinks back to the Lightning Stiletto still in the air, spinning before landing perfectly on her toes. Ganyu gasps in surprise, before aggressively clapping for her best friend. "That was an amazing save, Keqing!" she exclaimed. Keqing flushes at her positive reaction and thanks her before stepping down.
Next, is Ganyu's turn. Keqing helps hoist her onto the trampoline before their teacher comes rushing over. "Now, now, Keqing, please don't do that! It could be dangerous in case Ganyu or you slip, and you both may get hurt. Just let Ganyu get on by herself, alright?" Childe asks, concerned. "Okay, sir," replies Keqing, stepping back as Ganyu shows visible struggle in getting on. After a painful minute of trying to do it, she finally climbs on.
The qilin starts to jump, at a much slower rate compared to Keqing and Yanfei. Once she feels like she's gotten high enough, she performs a somersault and attempts to leave a Trail Of The Qilin so it could quickly bloom and shower the girl in a sheet of Cryo, but she miscalculates and leaves it at an awkward angle, causing her to trip, before Keqing deftly catches her by the waist. "Huff... Yuyu, please be more careful next time. I understand you also want to show off, but make sure you're safe, okay?" asks Keqing, her amethyst eyes boring into the rainbow eyes of Ganyu.
"Y-Yeah, sorry Keqing," she mumbles. "No worries. Now try that once more, I'm here to catch you if needed," says Keqing, grinning at her. Ganyu performs the trick yet again, and this time with flawless perfection, the Trail blooming perfectly. "Yeah! That was way better! Well done, Ganyu!" exclaims Keqing, high - fiving the girl as Ganyu steps down from the trampoline.
Finally, it's Hu Tao's turn. She gleefully hops on the trampoline as she gains height. Once she's ready, she starts to perform cute gestures like hearts with her hands as she bounces back down, with each jump a new gesture; before launching Spirit Soother and her ghost buddy popping out, her speed increasing and golden butterflies being emitted from her body as she does a flip and lands, clapping her hands together and winking. "Hu, that was so cute! C'mere!" shouts Yanfei, as the two share a hug, giggling.
"Wow, Hu Tao, that was amazing!" says Ganyu, in awe. "Thanks, Ganyu. Yours was good too!" chortles Hu Tao. Childe claps his hands together and thanks the class for his time, before letting them leave for break.

Barely a month after Ganyu coming out to Keqing, the girl understood she had romantic attraction to women as well, coming out as bisexual just like her best friend. She never confessed the other part of her coming out; that she might be in love with a woman.
Except, it wasn't just any woman she was in love with.
It was a certain blue - haired adeptus.
Of course, Ganyu would never be made aware of this for as long as Keqing could force her heart to not blurt out her true feelings for her.
Ganyu and Keqing were on call when Ganyu's voice heightened in pitch and it was obvious the girl was excited. "What's gotten you all worked up, Ganyu?" asked Keqing, curious. She was expecting something like Ganyu finally getting a dog for the qilin loved animals with all her heart; doing well in an exam or something along those lines.
What Ganyu next uttered shook Keqing to her very core.
"Beidou asked me out!! We were just talking near the lake and she... she held my hand before asking if we could be girlfriends. I accepted~ aah, she's actually my girlfriend!! Keqing, I'm so excited!" squealed Ganyu. Keqing froze, as her body automatically slammed the button to end the call, and like clockwork, she found herself racing to the bathroom.
She slammed the door and stared at her reflection in the mirror. She looked at her waves of lavender hair and amethyst eyes, and before long, warm, salty tears escaped the girl's eyes and tumbled down her face.
Keqing's mind raced with furious thoughts.
Why am I sad, it's not like I actually like her... right?
I should be happy for Ganyu, I'm a horrible fucking best friend, aren't I?
It's not like she'd care that much for me anymore, what with Beidou now in the picture.
