Aika's POV

"What the hell... I thought she will put her in the same room as me" Hyunjin annoyingly whispered

What? Did I heard it right? So he is expecting his secretary to put me and him in the same room?!

"What did you say?"

"I said how fun you got late because you dated some stranger" Hyunjin rolled his eyes

A stranger? Gosh. No wonder Kel is better than him. He talk to me in a kind way and would not bash me or say mean things to me.

"Correction. A date with my boyfriend"

Hyunjin glared at me.

How can he be so annoying? I thought we are in good terms? Can't he at least be kind? We should be not stressing ourselves but he is stressing me out.

"What are you glaring at? Do you think you can scare me?"

He suddenly looked away and crosses his arm "Is he better than me? Does he look good? What can he do? Is he smart? Is he handsome? Is he a CEO? Is he a boss? Is he the owner of the company you are working at?"

"He is handsome and smart. He is kind too. He owns a business and he is currently a model. He is really sweet and nice. He even introduced me as the girl he is courting"

He just stared at me.

"What?"

"Are you in love him like how you are madly in love with me?" he smirked

"What? What the hell are you saying?"

"It's impossible for you to move on for a week" Hyunjin

"What made you say that? Huh?"

"You always see me everyday and I have been talking to you. It's impossible for you to lose your feelings for me. That is so impossible, Ms. Moon" Hyunjin smiled

"How sure you are? It is possible for you, so it is possible for me too"

"What?" Hyunjin

"Your girlfriend cheated on you. You broke up with her. We fucked for one night after a few days. You told me you love me. Are you insane? Now tell me that is impossible to happen"

He didn't say anything and rolled his eyes "We are different"

"Exactly... We are different. You and I have different ways of moving on. You probably can't move on as you see the person everyday, I want to see you as I move on. That's so different. So, let me repeat, I already moved on"

He looked away.

I ruined the mood.

"So, excuse me"

I was about to go but I felt a hand held my wrist which shocked me. I am also panicking that the other employees might see him. This is another issue.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Did you already... moved on?" he whispered

I saw the employees went inside the hotel. Elara was about to go to me but he noticed Hyunjin's hand. She left.

"I told you already. I won't repeat myself over and over again, Hyunjin"

"Aika, we can still try. It will work out. You don't have to move on" Hyunjin

"You are selfish. You are engaged and happy with your fiance while I am hurting and suffering. I am not some girl you can ask to be your mistress. Back off. You have a fiance-"

"And what made you say that I am happy with her? Do you know that she is out there fucking with her ex boyfriend?!" Hyunjin

Fuck. Good thing they left already.

"So... You want to use me to have revenge?"

Hyunjin looked at me.

I removed his hand and left.

As I entered the building, I went straight to my assigned room. I entered and saw Elara staring at the view from her bed.

"Hey"

"What happened to you? Are you and Hyunjin okay?" she asked

"We are really fine. I forgot my luggage. It's in his car"

"I'll take it later" Elara smiled

I nodded "Thank you"

"So... What happened? You don't look okay at all" she asked. I know she is worried of me.

"I deserve better, right? I mean he is nice and better. I still think I deserve someone who will put me as his only option. Elara, he is engaged and he wants us to work out. Does that even make sense? In the end, if they got married, I will be the one hurting while he has his own family. I can't even see him spending time with another girl, what more if he spend time with his own family? That will probably tear me apart"

"You are right. You deserve better. I'm sorry for always teasing you and Hyunjin. I just feel like he is sincere to you. His feelings for you were true. I know you deserve each other. He is ready to leave her for you but that girl is threatening him. Hyunjin loves you a lot. He is willing to take the risk just to be with you. You just have to show him that you love him. He'll do the rest" Elara smiled at me

"Still... I am scared to get hurt and be blamed. It's not easy, I don't know what to believe"

Just being with him gives me so much fear...

"Aika, you will decide. I am just trying to give you opinion. It's still about you" Elara

The fear of loving him so much that I will forget to love myself...
