Third person's POV

(Next day)


"Go now" Hyunjin told Yaz as he parked the car in front of her school

She was about to go but she remembered something "When can we meet her?"

"Soon" Hyunjin

"You said that yesterday. I want the specific date" Yaz

"This week or next week. Let's see when you guys are free" Hyunjin

Yaz smiled and nodded "I'll put that in mind. Bye!"

Hyunjin watched her go inside the University and he hurriedly drove to the company. He wasn't supposed to drive Yaz but he wanted to at least give her a ride. It's been a long time since he drove her to school.

He keep checking his phone to check some updates and notifications but to his surprise, there is none. Not even one. He is kind of bothered. He would usually receive calls, messages, and emails but there is really none.

Also, Aika wasn't texting him last night which bothered him even more. He thought of what happened yesterday. He feels like Aika got mad at him for flirting while working which is really wrong. What can he do? He just misses her.

As he arrived, he parked the car and entered the building. He went straight to the floor where his office is. His secretary bowed to him as a greeting, then she continued working. Hyunjin went inside the office-

"Aika?" Hyunjin called

"I finished arranging your schedule for this week, sir" she answered

Hyunjin chuckled "Really? Since you are done with the schedule. Can you at least spend time with me?"

Aika took the folder and handed it to Hyunjin "If you have any question-"

"Are you mad at me?" Hyunjin asked

"No, why would I get mad at you?" Aika

"You are ignoring all my calls and messages since last night" Hyunjin said and looked at Aika, hoping he will receive a valid reason from her

"You will have a lunch meeting today with the Ir*** Company. Later in the afternoon, the final chapters for this week's book will be sent to you through email or you can request a hard copy. Tomorrow, the opening of new bookstore and you have to be there. I reserved the place for your lunch meeting today. Also, the day after tomorrow will be the release of the books" Aika answered

Hyunjin nodded and giggled "What a tiring week... I think I will need a uhm... One week vacation? Or at least one day with you?"

He was expecting her to answer but to his surprise, Aika just took the folders on the table where she is earlier. She gave it to Hyunjin.

"Those are the final line up for our books that will be released this week" Aika said

He sighed "Alright. I guess I will have to work, work, work and work this week. No time for you? Do you want that?"

"If you have any question, you can call me" Aika said and bowed as she was about to leave-

Hyunjin held her wrist and puller her into a hug "I missed you, Aika"

They stayed in that position for a few seconds.

Aika then pushed Hyunjin "What's that smell?"

Hyunjin was confused "What smell?" he asked and started smelling his polo sleeves

Aika is covering her nose.

"I took a bath and sprayed perfume. What do you mean? Are you talking about me?" Hyunjin raised his eyebrow

Aika tried to smell Hyunjin's polo sleeves then her face shows like she wants to vomit.

(After lunch meeting)

Hyunjin is in front of his office, carrying food he bought. He was looking at the glass window. He wanted to know if Aika is there.

"Do I smell that bad?" he asked his secretary

"Huh?" Secretary

"Earlier, she hates my smell. I went home after the lunch meeting to take a bath and spray a different perfume. Do I still smell bad?" Hyunjin asked

"No, sir" she answered

"Be honest" Hyunjin

"I mean it, sir. You are good" Secretary

Hyunjin nodded "Is she inside?"

"Yes, sir. She didn't eat proper lunch. She ordered mangoes" she answered

Hyunjin went inside looking confident. Aika just ignored him and continued working on something. He purposely walked near her so she can smell the perfume but she ignored Hyunjin.

"You didn't eat lunch?" Hyunjin asked

Aika nodded "I don't feel like eating"

"Let's eat. I didn't eat that much earlier" he said and sat in front of her

She just looked at him arranging the food on the table.

"I met Yujeon yesterday" Hyunjin suddenly opened the topic

"I know. Elara told me" she said

"Really? Anyway, his girlfriend is awake" Hyunjin

"I know" she answered

"That's why you didn't ask where I went?" Hyunjin looked at her

She nodded.

"Anyway, let's eat" he said and gave her, her food

"Is Yujeon okay? After watching the record yesterday, I wanted to call him but I think he needed some time alone" Aika

"He is fine. He talked to his Mom after the interview. They are fine now. You should eat" Hyunjin

"What is Yujeon's girlfriend's reaction?" she asked

"She was shocked. It was true that his Mom did something for them to breakup. That led to a big fight, then an accident that occurred that night. I said you should eat, Aika" Hyunjin looked at her

"I feel bad for him but at the same time I feel good" she said

Hyunjin is so done with her ignoring the food.
