Chapter 7. First Encounter

Amu's Pov

I was petting the adorable little kitties in their little play pen thing and Ami was trying her best to reach them, so I helped her. Then I heard a deep husky voice come from behind me.

"Hey pinky." It said. I turned around while holding Ami. I saw azure blue eyes and I couldn't keep my eyes away from them. I finally snapped out of it when Ami pulled my hand and said, "Onee-chan, do you this guy?"

I looked down at her and said, "no, I don't." Then I looked at the guy since I never got a good look at him. He had midnight blue hair, and a playful smirk on his mouth. Then I realized that this guy was the Ikuto Tsukiyomi from school.

I panicked inside and was stiff. "What do you want?" I asked in my cool n spicy tone. I can't believe that my outer character is coming out of all times. It mostly comes out whenever I'm not in my disguise, whenever I am in it though, I'm all all shy and quiet.

I saw Ikuto look a little shocked but then it was replaced by a smirk. "Yes actually, I would like to know your name strawberry." He said. I blushed a little, and tried to cover it up, "don't call me that you idiot!" I yelled, breaking my outer character a little.

I could hear him snicker a little. I saw Ami looking at the both of us in amusement. "Here, why don't I introduce myself first then," he said bringing his face closer to mine. "My name is Ikuto Tsukiyomi." He said, I could feel his breath on my neck and shuddered a little.

"Now, what's yours?" He asked backing away.

"Why the heck should I tell you," I said stubbornly, crossing my arms. "Because, since I told you mine, I should at least know yours." He said.

"My name's Ami!" Yelled my little sister from down below, looking at the both of us. "Are you her sister?" He asked, kneeling down to her height. She nodded and said, "I love my big sister!" I smiled hearing that.

"Really? Well then can you tell me your sisters name then?" He asked. I saw Ami nod and smiled a huge grin. "Onee-chan's name is.....A-" but she was cut off by me covering her mouth. "Heh heh heh, Ami, you know not to give our names to total strangers." I said awkwardly, giving Ami a little glare.

She frowned at me and just crossed her arms. "Hey I'm not a stranger, I just told you my name," Ikuto said looking at me with those deep blue eyes which I was almost lost in again.

When I snapped out of it I said a little faster than usual, "Well nice seeing you Ikuto, bye!" I yelled and picked up Ami and grabbed our shopping bags and ran away.

When I finally thought I lost him, I was sitting on a mall bench with Ami sitting beside me, huffing and panting. "Did we lose him?" I asked looking around. "I'm not sure, but onee-chan why did you seem so weird around him?" Asked Ami.

I sighed and said, "well, he's from my school." I said to her. "Ohhh, I see, sorry that I almost told him your name," Ami said sadly, looking apdown at her feet. "It's alright," I replied and hugged her.

"Hmm, so you go to my school then?" Said a deep husky voice behind me while I was hugging Ami. "What?!" I yelled and turned around. I saw Ikuto looking at me and giving me a smirk. Crap! He heard that! I thought in my head.

"So, you go to my school? What grade are you in?" He asked leaning against the wall. "Why the heck would I tell you?!" I said angrily, crossing my arms. "Because, if you don't then I'll make you." He said as he was suddenly grabbed my waist and held me, with his face so close to mine that our lips were just centimeters away.

"W-what the heck?! Let me go you p-pervert!" I yelled and kicked him on his shin. "What the heck was that for?!" He yelled rubbing his now hurt shin. "Y-you tried to k-kiss me!" I yelled, my face probably red now.

"Oh, so you were expecting a kiss then?" He said with a teasing look in his eyes. "N-no! You pervert!" I yelled. "So you're calling me a pervert when you thought I was going to kiss you? I think you're the pervert here." He said with the teasing look still in his eyes. "Pervy kid." He continued.

I huffed out of anger and blushed in embarrassment a little. "I am not a Pervy kid! Im only a year younger than you!!" I yelled, making him smirk now.

"So, you're a sophomore then?" He said. Then I realized that I just fell into his trap. "N-no! I didn't say that!" I yelled waving my arms around. "Don't deny it strawberry I know you're a sophomore." Ikuto said inching closer to me.

"No! Go away you pervert!" I yelled blushing a little and pushing him away. "Aww, strawberry doesn't like me?" Ikuto said pouting a little. "Yes," I said looking in the other direction so that I wouldn't look at his pouting face. "Fine," he said and trapped me with his arms, my back against the wall.

"W-wha-" I said but was interrupted by him knocking his forehead into mine. "Ouch!" I said. "I will find you at school, and be prepared for it." He said against my ear. Making me shiver a little and blush bright red. "G-get off!" I yelled pushing him away.

He just smirked at me and turned around and walked away. "Later," he said waving his hand without turning around.

Ikuto's Pov

Seeing her blush made me almost speechless. She was so beautiful with her honey eyes sparkling and her bubblegum pink hair flowing behind her. After telling her that I would find her which I was serious about. I left her with her little sister with her mouth hanging open.

Chuckling a little to myself, I went back to the spot where Utau and everyone were supposed to meet up at. When I got closer to the meeting spot I could make out Utau's, her midget friend beside her, Kukai's and Nagihiko's figure.

"Finally, took you a while." huffed my sister crossing her arms. It kinda reminded me of strawberry. "Yeah yeah." I said and walked past them. "Let's leave now." I continued. "So Ikuto, what took you so long? Found a girl?" Asked Kukai as he was walking beside me giving me a look raising his eyebrows up and down.

"No," I said and continued walking. "Yeah right." Said Kukai still giving me the look. "What about you and my sister?" I asked, he turned red a little and finally shut up. "Oh yeah, I won by a landslide!" Said Utau beside me with her midget friend beside her. "Shut up!" Said Kukai in a mad expression.

"I ate 36 bowls while he only ate 22!" My sister continued laughing now. I pat her head. "Good job." I said. She looked up at me and blushed a little. "I'm not a little girl anymore!" She said slapping my hand away from her head. I smirked and continued walking, thinking of the pink haired girl I just met.

Amu's Pov

After Ikuto left, Ami pulled my skirt, raising her eyebrows up and down and said, "onee-chan I see you're blushing." "What! No I'm not!" I said and felt my face. It was hot. "Let's just go now!" I said and grabbed my sisters hand.

When we got home, Papa finally came out from the bathroom. He cried and hugged us the minute we were back. "Papa, let us go..." I said. "No! Are you alright?! Did you meet any boys!?" He yelled looking at the both of us. I started to sweat a little. "No papa, we didn't so don't worry." Said Ami.

Papa sighed with relief, "good. You can go now." He said and let us go. I ran up the stairs with Ami behind me to put our stuff up. After I put my bags on the side of my bed I flopped down onto my soft bed. Sighing, I said, "haaa, I'm so tired."

Then I got up and opened the door to my balcony to breath in the fresh air. Looking up, I saw that the moon was full tonight. The billions of stars surrounding it amazed me. "It's so pretty..." I said to myself. Then I stayed out there for a couple of more minutes before I went to go eat dinner.

For dinner there was mashed potatoes and some steak on the side with some rice along with it. It was delicious like usual. Afterwards I took a nice hot shower and changed into some pajamas. Finally I went to sleep, glad that I could wake up late tomorrow.
