Amu's Pov
~~~~~~~~~~~oOo~~~~~~~~~~~
After leaving Utau's and Ikuto's house, and getting back home, a wave of guiltiness hit me hard when I closed my front door. "Amu-chan, is that you?" Mama called. "Yeah, I'm back!!" I yelled and took off my shoes. I heard footsteps pattering through the halls and knew that it was Ami.
"Onee-chans home!" She yelled and jumped into my arms. I laughed and carried her over to where mama was. "Hey mama." I said as she was cooking lunch for us. "How was school?" She asked, not looking back at me. "It was....alright I guess..." I lied, remembering back at the contest and glad that it was over, and what happened at Utau's and Ikuto's house earlier.
"That's good then, at least you had fun, right?" She asked, as Ami yelled to put her down and I did. "Yeah, it was." I answered. "Oh, that's right, Amu tomorrow on Saturday, Papa and I will be going to Ami's school play. Would you like to go with us?" She asked.
"Nah, I think I'll be good from just watching the house." I answered and Mama made an 'are you sure' expression. "Yes, mama I think I'll be fine." I assured her. "Okay then...." She said. "If you need to go out for something, make sure to lock all the doors and take the house key and your phone with you at all times, alright?" She said. "And make sure if anything bad happens, call us immediately."
I nodded again and left the kitchen, to put my school bag up in my room and get the new wig I got from Nikaidou Sensei out. The wig looked new and unused and it looked just like my old one, only a tad shade lighter maybe.
I set it on my desk and put my fake glasses on my night table. Then I went to do my homework that I had, so that I could get it over with before the weekend started.
The Next Day
I was waving bye to my parents and Ami as they drove off to Ami's school play. When they were long gone, I closed the door behind me, making sure it was securely locked. Then I checked the back door and locked that too.
I know, I panic a little whenever I'm in the house alone.
When I was sure everything was locked and shut tight, I settled on the couch to watch some tv. Scanning through the channels, I thought back to when I was explaining to Utau and everyone what had happened to me, and felt guilt growing more and more from the pit of my stomach.
I stood up from the couch and turned off the tv with a push of a button, shutting it off. "I need to get some fresh air." I said and grabbed my phone, making sure it was in my pocket, and the house keys. I put on my shoes and started heading for the place where I knew I could only totally relax.
The park.
As I got closer to the park, I could hear more and more squealing of the little kids playing. When I got there, I decided to sit on a bench that was under a large tree where I used to try to climb up on when I was little.
Sighing, once I sat down, I already was feeling a lot better and just watched the kids as they played in the swings, monkey bars, slides and more, smiling.
"Looks like we have a pedophile here, hm?" Whispered a deep husky voice in my ear. I jumped a little and quickly stood up. "W-what the he-" I yelled and saw Ikuto, smirking at me. "Oh, it's you." I said and sat back down, heart still racing from the scare.
"So what are you doing here, watching little kids like a creep?" He asked as he sat beside me on the bench. "I'm not watching them, I'm just here to calm down a little." I huffed and scooted a little further from him. "What are you doing here?" I asked him, as he yawned.
"I saw you, so I thought I should scare you." He said boredly, staring off into nowhere. Turning to look at me, his expression changed to a smirk, "and it worked." He continued. I was starting to feel pissed, sitting here with him and regretted coming to the park.
