"Y/N, we have something to tell you!" Your mother's overly cheery voice was the first thing you heard when you walked into your house after a long day of school. "OK, what is it?" You replied walking into the lounge where both of your parents were seated, a significant distance apart from each other.
"Oh lord, you two have been fighting again haven't you?" You said, noticing the tension between your mother and father. Your mother scoffed, "Hardly, you don't even know what true parental fighting is, we've just had a little disagreement, that's all."
"Don't lie to them Elaine," Your father butt in, "They deserve to know."
"Know what?" You asked, clearly something had happened whilst you were at at school that made your parents act so strangely, well, more strangely than usual.
It was normal for your parents to get into arguments, but something about this on seemed... off.
Your train of thought was broken by your mother. "Your father and I have decided that whilst we're getting this little matter sorted out (aka getting a divorce), it would be best for you to live somewhere else for a while, by that I mean with your Aunt Hiko."
Aunt Hiko? But..
"She lives in another country." You couldn't believe it, surely they wouldn't, they can't..
"Y/N, you're going to move to Japan."
