Dreaming About You

This chapter will be relatively short as this focuses of Naruto's dream. Tell me if you would like his dreams to be apart of another chapter instead of it's own chapters. Please, and thank you!

          The day was nice and warm, not a single rainy cloud in sight, the bees were buzzing around and the birds were fluttering from tree to tree with playful bliss. In a field near the Leaf Village, 2 young ninja were laying next to each other enjoying their day off with one another as they stared at the slowly moving clouds with a smile. Naruto was on his back, legs crossed and hands behind his head as he stared happily at the fluffy objects. Hinata was just laying down normally as he hands rested on her stomach and her legs slightly apart. "Ooh! That one looks like a castle!" Naruto exclaimed with excitement as he pointed to a cloud that he considered a castle. "Really? What are you talking about? I don't see one" Hinata questioned as she squinted her eyes. She tried using her byakugan to see if that would help and instead it wean straight through the cloud into open skies.

       She scolded herself for thinking that she couldn't see past a fluffy cloud that was made up of the moisture that evaporates off the ground. "Hinata? Did you just speak normally?" Naruto questioned as he didn't notice her stutter like she normally did. She then gave him a questionable look before she thought back to her last sentence. She then went wide eyed, her light purple colored eyes get bigger as she realized he was right. "O-Oh! Y-Y-Your right Naruto-K-Kun" She said going back to her stuttering shy self slightly blushing relishing in the fact Naruto actually paid attention to her voice. She then decided to look closer as if that was possible, soon enough she found the outline of a castle up in the sky. "O-Oh now I see it!" Hinata exclaimed with a smile before turning to look at Naruto. "Yeah? What else do you see?" Naruto said as he stared back at Hinata, getting a fuzzy feeling in his chest as he just looked at her beautiful features. "W-Well. I see a-a friend next to me, wh-who I cherish v-very m-much" Hinata responded, a slight sharp pang in her heart as she forced the word 'friend' out, but she brushed the feelings off. Naruto felt a knot in his stomach that twisted and turned, it almost was like a stomach ache.

       He felt a little hurt when she called him her friend. Thinking it's just him being sick or something he brushed it off as if it never bothered him. "Oh, yeah? Well what if I told you this friend of yours had a secret to tell you?" Naruto exclaimed with a big grin as he had his eyes closed. This made Hinata's cheeks burn a crimson red as she thought of what it could be and hoped it's something she has been waiting ever since she fell for him. "Wh-What is it, N-Naruto-Kun?" Hinata asked with a slight nervous gulp. "Come closer and you'll see" Naruto told her with a smirk which made her blush even harder. She soon timidly got closer to Naruto who was in his knees now. She got up on her knees as well and got as close as she could without passing out from the closeness between the 2.

"Wh-What is it th-that you wanted t-to tell me, N-Naruto-Kun?" Hinata asked again and Naruto got close to her left ear smiling. Hinata was now red all over her face, she was about to scream and faints before he whispered. "Tag. You're it" Naruto said retracting himself from Hinata and tapped her nose before running in the opposite direction of him. She at there frozen before she came to realizing what he actually wanted to do.

He wanted to play tag with him.

To be honest she never played tag before, and every time she tried to play with the kids that lives near her they said no. They always said that she would cheat with her eyes and they wouldn't want to play with a Byakugan monster anyway. When they always told her that she would try her hardest not to cry in front of them.

"Oi! Hinata. Daijoubu?" (Hey! Hinata. (Are you) alright?) Naruto asked as he stared at the Kunoichi who just stared off into space. "Y-Yeah, I'm o-ok, Arigatou.. (Thank You..)" Hinata said as she looked at Hinata no got up off the ground. "Ok, then! See ya!" Naruto said running away from Hinata. Hinata with a determined face then ran after him, "I'm going t-to get you, Naruto-Kun!" Hinata exclaimed as she kept running after him, the wind rushing past her as she ran. Her hair flowed through the air and started to almost wave fluently. "You're going to try! Heh heh" Naruto responded with a determined grin and kept running all over the place. Hinata was hot on his tail as she was determined to catch him, a playful smirk etching onto her mouth. When she was close she reached her hand out and while Naruto wasn't paying attention he got tagged in the arm. "I did it! I got you!" Hinata exclaimed in happiness before realizing what happened.

       I-I did something that I-I a-always dreamed of... I-I t-touched N-Naruto-Kun... Hinata thought making her cheeks grow a crimson red. "Hinata. Daijoubu?" Naruto asked the second time today as he examined her overly red face. Hinata just stayed silent as she thought over what she just thought over what happened just a minute ago in her head. "Hinata? Hinata! HINATA!" Naruto yelled as he shook her shoulders trying to snap her into the real world. She finally came to her senses as she looked at how close she and Naruto were before she turned back to a deep red all over her face again and suddenly fainted. "Eh? Hinata?" Naruto questioned not knowing what happened or what he did to make her faint. "Well looks like fun's over" Naruto said as he carried her back to the village having to cut the hang out short. "You really are one in a million, Hinata said as he continued walking carrying her bridal style.

       Naruto turned over in his bed as he continued to dream about him and Hinata, a gig smile creasin onto his face ever so lightly.
