Dreaming About You

       It was early morning, soon after sunrise and the two were walking towards their destination. They were about a mile away and they just walked in silence. Naruto had his hands behind his head as he stared off into space thinking about last night. Naruto then glanced at the quiet and shy kunoichi beside him and he felt a fuzzy feeling inside his chest and it made him feel happy and sort of giddy. He hadn't realized he was staring until Hinata spoke, "N-Naruto-Kun? W-Ehy do you k-keep staring a-at me..?" Hinata said trying to shy away and not look at him. "Huh? Oh! Sorry, I was just, uh-um.. uh, spaced out is all. Heh heh..." Naruto said with the most innocent toothy smile he could muster. "O-Oh... ok" Hinata replied as she kept her head down not wanting to talk anymore.

       Soon the atmosphere was silent and a little awkward as none of them have any idea what to talk about. Naruto kept rattling his brain for an idea but couldn't think of anything to talk about. Until an idea struck him like lightning, "Oi, Hinata?" Naruto called to her which she slowly turned to him. "Y-Yes, Naruto?" She asked as she nervously looked at him, "Thanks for last night.." Naruto nervously said as it kind of embarrassed him. "W-What do you m-mean?" Hinata questioned as she cocked her head to the side in a questionable manor. "W-Well I wanted to thank you for singing me to sleep. It makes me glad your my best friend" Naruto replied with a smile.

       That was a lie and Naruto knew it as he along with Hinata felt a pain in their chest and Hinata knew why why it was like that unlike Naruto who was knew to this sort of pain.

       The two kept walking in silence after Naruto friend zoned Hinata without realizing it. "Hey, Hinata. I was wondering... Maybe after our mission I could treat you to some Ramen? I'll pay for it" Naruto asked with a big smile which made Hinata all fuzzy and warm. "S-Sure, N-Naruto-Kun, I would love that" Ginata said closing her eyes and giving him a soft smile.

       There it was again. That same fuzzy warm feeling Naruto has been strangely getting. He was so confused but also happy as he didn't care because he felt happy and warm, and could just feel like floating high above the sky.

       "O-Oh, we're h-here" Hinata said after 2 hours of walking as they came upon the villages entrance where the person they would be guarding. "Looks welcoming" Naruto replied with a bright smile and amazement. "You could say that" a unfamiliar male voice said in front of the two ninjas.

       The two ninjas snapped their heads to a boy their age who had pale almost white skin with a robe that was a white color and the colors for the edges of the neck, arm, and waist piece was a red color. He had black spiked hair that was long on both sides of his head but no long bangs or long hair in the back. He wore sandals that had straps on them to stay on tight, he had mesmerizing brown eyes and a somewhat muscular form from what the two could see.

       "Woah, who are you?" Naruto asked as he was surprised by the sudden appearance. "The names, Takuma, and you two must be the ninjas escorting me to your village?" Takuma asked with a smile as he looked at the two. "Yes we are! And I'm, Uzumaki Naruto!" Naruto exclaimed with a big grin and closed eyes as he pointed his thumb to himself. "So your the kid with the beast inside you, huh?" Takuma asked as he took in Naruto's features. "Yes, I am" Naruto replied before turning to Hinata next to him who was sort of shying away behind Naruto a bit. "And this is my partner on this mission. Why don't you introduce yourself?" Naruto asked Hinata before she slowly nodded and walked out from behind Naruto.

"K-Konichiwa! I'm Hyuga H-Hinata!" Hinata answered sort of fast because of her nervousness. "My, my, what do we have here?" Takuma said walking up to Hinata taking her hand before kissing her knuckle. He then looked at her eyes before winking, Hinata both blushed in embarrassment and anger, as well as discomfort. Angry, because she wanted Naruto to be the one to do that first. Embarrassed because it happened so suddenly, and she felt discomfort because he gave off this vibe that tells her that she should stay far, far away from him.
