ancient ruins

Hello boys and girls here is the next chapter of my Yu-Gi-Oh GX story which I hope all of you are enjoying as much as I am writing it and there is going to be a duel this chapter! Now I know it has been a quite a bit since the last duel but I don't think everything chapter must have a duel since I don't want to feel like I'm relying on them too much. Now for my question of the day and that is what was a Yu-Gi-Oh card that you had which was also one of your main monsters you used which later on your realised it was a very bad card. For me it would have to be stardust dragon/assault mode, back when I was a kid in primary school we didn't really read the effects too much, but as I got older I realised that it really wasn't a good monster especially after all the song and dance you have to do to get it out so I just stopped using him in favour of more better monsters like evilswarm ophion, Starving venom fusion dragon, as well as others. Now with this long question over and done with let's get on with the story shall we.

Y/n POV

I stood outside the academy waiting for professor banner to let us know when we can start going, standing with me were Jaden, Syrus, chumley, Alexis, and fugaku. All of us were wearing back packs which had out lunch in them since Professor banner said that we would be here all afternoon, Syrus and jaden had been talking quietly amount eachother for some reason.

Lyman:"now we must be carefully as we approach the ruins, inside is an ancient tomb."

We looked at the phone like device seeing an image on the screen which was a bunch of ruins that nature has began to clam it with moss.

Fugaku:"looks like a right laugh."

Lyman:"okay everyone let's go."

Then all of us went off to where these ruins are.

Small timeskip.

After over an hour or walking we reach a clearing in the trees while me and Jaden helped chumley since he was getting tired and complained about nearly everything.

Lyman:"were here."

All of us looked at the ruins, even though some of them have crumbled it was still a marvel to behold, professor banner gestured his hands to the large ruins.

Lyman:"isn't it amazing?"

I nodded since looking at it more should have crumbled due to gravity but it didn't, almost like it is choosing when it want to fall.

Jaden:"they look all ruined."

Alexis:"that's cause there ruins."

Fugaku chuckled when he heard the joke.

Lyman:"it's beautiful, you can still make out the faded remains of the oculus, whoo, and the vestigial, no doubt inspired by the amendment if sakura."

I then sat down as I hadn't realised till we stopped walking but my knees were soar form all that walking, fugaku took his bag of of his back before also sitting down.

Fugaku:"this place sure looks boring but I am curious who originally inhabited this island."

I hadn't thought of it up until not but he dose make a point since someone had to build this but we haven't really been taught about that, maybe that come later?

Jaden:"while we're at it, why don't we chow down!"

Lyman tuned to Jaden with his usual smile on his face.

Lyman:"I don't see why not."

I walked over to the rest of my friends since from the comics and shows I watch when on Feild trips friends have lunch together. I had packed myself two lunch boxes since hiking is quite tiring so I might need more lunch, all I really made for myself was sandwiches, I even made extra incase anyone else wanted some.
