I pushed my feet off the bed which were hell swelled and sneaked out if the room where Adrian was sleeping and went to kitchen. I turned on the light and immediately made my way to fridge. I opened it and saw different sweets placed there.

I licked my lips and pulled out chocolate mousse and put it on the kitchen island. I pulled a fork and sat on stool taking the bites.
"Pregnancy cravings"
I jumped on the voice and saw Larissa standing there with a smirk.

She didn't know about my pregnancy neither did Owen. We were hiding it from them because they could cause any damage. When I will be showing I would move to our new house because we were still staying there and didn't want them to interfere in our new start.

I rolled my eyes and continued to eat. She snickered and went to get some water. I ate my mousse and went to my room. I snuggled back into Adrian and his warmth engulfed me.

"Hello Ava"
Adrian's voice reached me through phone when I was in my office going through the file.

"Hey"
I said settling my phone in between my ear and shoulder while my eyes were on the file.

"When will you be free"
He asked as I signed the page after glancing at the last page.

"I will be free in an hour"
I said glancing at the clock which hung on the wall in front of her.

"Ok go home and get ready in something casual. We will be going out"

"O-kayyy"
I sung and then hung up after sharing "I love you".

I glanced at the clock which read 12:00 am and my work was almost done. Since I was pregnant I take a lot of rest and come to office lesser.

Last week I went to Miami to check the things. I was reluctant but Adrian made me realize that I was pregnant not sick or paralyzed. I could easily fly anywhere or do whatever suits me but as long as I am safe and healthy.

I was surprised at his encouraging words as I thought he would be over protective and wouldn't let me wake till bathroom but he was different. Though he was protective he was being supportive too. For him this pregnancy or our family wasn't a full stop to everything. It was just a phase which we would always cherish and love.

I took my purse and made my way out. I told Victoria about my departure and to tell me if anything needed. I would usually do work at home but since today I was going on a date I didn't take any work with me.

I slipped in my car and drove off. Our anniversary was getting close and I didn't know what to do. I was thinking hard about what to do but didn't come upon anything.

I finally reached home and parked the car on front patio giving the keys to butler. I made my way in where Martha welcomed me with fresh pancakes. I immediately stuffed them.in my mouth as I couldn't wait to freshen up and eat civilly.

Once I was done eating I ran upstairs to our room. I was going through my closet to see what to wear when my phone binged informing me of upcoming video call. As I stepped out of closet Adrian stepped in.
"Hey"
I said and he pecked my forehead.
