I looked up from the file I was reading and shouted "enter". The glass doors of my office opened and I heard the clicks of heels. I abandoned my file and waited. Before a minute person appeared from the other side and I sighed. In the door stood Larissa but the heels kept clicking indicating the arrival of someone else.

Behind her a girl with black hair and black eyes entered. Her eyes were too dark to be normal. It was like she was hiding a demon behind those black orbs. A sinister smirk was playing on her lips which were painted blood red.

I stood up from my chair and folded my arms in front of me.
"What are you doing here"
I asked coldly. She smiled and came forward.

"Ava dear meet Arianna Rodriguez"
Both of them took seat in front of my desk. Without my consent.

"What are you doing here"

"Larissa don't drag it and let's come to the point"

"Ok dear. Ava we are here to propose a deal"

"What kind of deal"
I said raising my eyebrow. This lady was sick and I didn't expect something good.

"You leave Adrian and go away from his life and in return we will leave Adrian on his own like we did it years back"

What the fuck

Does she really think that. That I will leave Adrian alone when I wanted them to be out of his life. When he needed me the most. And specially when our baby is on the way. I was sure my nostrils were flaring and I was turning red like a tomato. How dare she say this to me.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Office"

"Oh Ava. My sweet Ava do you think we will leave like this. No if you don't accept this in right way we will force you to"

"Larissa you are testing your luck and I would suggest you not to"
Adrianna was sitting silently on the chair playing with a paper weight which was on my desk. Larissa moved closer and looked at me.

"Ava we want you out of his life. And you have to. If not you, your baby will be out of your life"

My blood ran cold. No it froze in my veins. I was sure my face was pale and yellow. How the hell she knew about our baby. And she threatened me with him or her.

"It is your choice darling"
She said before standing up and going our. Adrianna was still sitting in front of me.

"I deserve Adrian and he will be mine. So back off before you lose your baby"
She hissed and stood up, picking her bag she went out of the room. I slumped in my seat and put a protective hand on my stomach.

I tried to breath but I couldn't. I threw my hands around to hold something but all I heard was distant voices of things falling. My eyes were hooded and I couldn't see anything. I took a deep breath but oxygen didn't reach my lungs. Before I knew it I fell on the floor right on my stomach. I whimpered and darkness invaded me.

I woke up with a constant ringing in my ears and like someone was hammering my head. I squinted my eyes at the bright light at top of my head. My right hand was in strong hold while something was on my waist.
