CHAPTER TWO
MINJUN ROCKED BACK AND forth on his feet, trying to keep himself protected from the harsh October wind. His large flannel was wrapped around his body, stopping just above his mid-thigh. His cheeks were tinted a light pink from the cold as well.
He was looking down both ways of the street continuously, looking for the vehicle that was supposed to pick him up and bring him to the place to play some games. Now, he was a little skeptical, but he would be able to live his life freely and make sure Hae lived her best life.
Just as he looked down the road once more, a van pulled up to him, the window rolling down. "Password?" A man asked. He had on a red outfit and a mask with a circle on it. Minjun raised an eyebrow at the strange choice of fashion but didn't say anything. "Red light, green light."
The door of the van slid open and Minjun hesitated before he crawled in, pulling his flannel closer to his chest. He looked around him and saw other people in the van, but they all seemed to be sleeping?
He bit down on his lip and looked toward the front of the van, barely catching a glimpse of the masked man before some gas started to fill his lungs. He felt himself getting more and more tired by the second and he finally realized what was happening. They were making him fall asleep.
He tried his best to not breathe in the gas but it was already too late, and before he knew it, he was asleep, just like everyone else in the van.
WHEN MINJUN WOKE UP he was in a bright room surrounded by beds. The clothes he was wearing before were replaced with a white t-shirt, a tracksuit, and white slip-ons. He studied his clothes a little, noticing the number 083 on his shirt and jacket. He pursed his lips before he looked around.
Oh wow. He thought as his eyes darted across every part of the large room. That's a lot of people. Minjun ran a hand through his messy hair, pulling his knees to his chest, trying to avoid any interaction.
There was no way he was going to walk up to somebody and just start chatting away, not in a million years. So, he'll stay right where he was, in the comfort of this random bed.
However, his attention was brought to the middle of the room when he saw an older man throwing a young girl. That didn't catch his attention, the thing that did was the fact that the woman looked familiar.
He raised an eyebrow and threw his legs over the edge of the bed, standing straight on his feet. He slowly walked over, almost tripping over his feet when he saw the same girl he had served tteok-bokki to.
