"My turn."
Amenza slowly walks toward him. Collin punches him again and again. Soon, one makes the redhead stop. "That's enough." Collin readies himself for his first hit. Amenza slowly winds back his arm. 'Who is he kidding with that punch? It'll be easy to catch.' The punch slowly comes flying toward him, and Collin grabs the fist. His hand gets carried into his face.
The redhead punches Collin into the ground. "Don't you have a magic restrictor on?!" Collin yells. The monster crouches down to his level. "I do, but that doesn't change the fact that I can beat you into next Tuesday." Collin slowly stands up, but Amenza punches him back down. "I forfeit!"
The creature reappears, seemingly scared. "The winner is Amenza Windsor. Collin Kumaden's forfeit." It disappears, and Angea comes and heals him. "Now look at what you've done. I have to go chill out." He walks away. He gets behind the school when he hears someone catching up to them. He turns and sees Jason. "Holy crap, you walk fast." The redhead smirks.
"What's up Jason?" The blonde catches his breath. "Did that guy get on your nerves?" Jason asks. "I guess. For some reason, the whole coward thing really struck a chord." The redhead sighs. "I don't think I've lost my cool like that in a while." They start walking around the school.
"I remember the first time you lost your cool in front of me. It was me, you, and Beau. We found out what was happening with Elise, and you just marched into her parent's house, and yelled and screamed at them." Amenza chuckles, and they turn to the side of the school. "Man, that was so much fun. We never told Elise that, did we?" Jason shrugs. "I don't think so. We've gotten wasted a few times, so I doubt it." The redhead chuckles. "I miss those times."
Soon, they loop back to the courtyard. The bell rings, so Jason's finger guns the redhead. "I'll see you later." He runs to class. Soon, most of the courtyard is empty. Only a few students remain because of their free period. Amenza sighs. He sits down at a table.
Ieyr appears in front of him. "You feel as if you should apologize to him, don't you?" The redhead nods. "I was in a similar situation once. Same argument, too. What I did was, I ran away." Amenza looks up at him. "Are you saying I should run away?" Ieyr gives a small laugh. "No, that's what I'm telling you not to do. I've regretted it since the day I was trapped. Y'know, since I had all that time on me."
The redhead smiles. "So I should apologize. What would you say to him?" The blonde thinks for a second. "I say you should go up to him, and make him listen. Tell him that you're sorry, tell him that you have your reasons to now want to be strong. Apologize, then walk away." Ieyr disappears. The bell for the second hour rings.
In his classes, the only things he can think about are the fun times with the Different Dimension Dudes, and what he'll say to Collin. Soon enough, lunch comes. Amenza stalls so that he can get there after Collin.
He enters and goes up to Collin. They stare at each other for a few seconds before speaking. "I'm sorry," They both say. They laugh awkwardly. "Well, I guess I accept your apology," Collin says. Amenza nods, and they shake hands. "Guys are too easy." Ruenmi comments. "What do you mean?" Lew asks. "You wouldn't get it."
The redhead gets food and sits down. Pers picks at his food. "Bad Pers. Go eat Lew's." The bird looks up at Lew. "Dang it, I can't say no to those eyes." The sparrow begins eating the food. "Why is your companion still here?" Staciap asks. "I have Companion Mastery next hour." Everyone but the redhead looks at Pers.
"Waywrighth only allows people to take that class if they have really strong companions," Lew informs. "Lew, your companion is probably a newt or something." The Silver Fox scoffs. "I'm offended! You're right, but I'm still offended." The table laughs.
The table tells everyone else what their companion is; Collin's is a bat, Staciap's is a bee, and Ruenmi's is a chinchilla. "It seems mine is the only one suited for battle." He pets Pers. "What is Pers, anyway?" Pers looks up and transforms into a vulture. "A vulture?" He turns into a blue jay. "A blue jay?" It turns into a Scuasa, a bird native to Rigalpu. "Didn't the Scuasa go extinct a couple of hundred years ago?" Amenza shrugs.
"So, final guesses?" Before they can answer, the bell rings. Amenza walks to his class with Pers back as a sparrow.
As it was the day before, they continue going over companions. Amenza just doodles in a notebook, with Pers telling him how good he is at drawing. The bell rings, and the redhead walks out. He gets to Deity Basics right as the bell rings. "Windsor, you just barely made it." He takes a seat, and Pers sits on his head. No one is behind them, so he's fine there.
"Today, we're going to start with the beginning; Aton." Mr. Madore goes to the chalkboard and draws something. "This is the Great Altar of Aton, or it was. It's a while till we get to The Destruction of the Great Altar, so let's just begin."
He draws a giant man, with a crown that has spikes sticking out of the sides. The man is wearing a long robe, with sleeves that go to his wrists. "This is what Aton looks like." Thobim raises his hand. "Yes, Mr. Wriger?" The teal-haired teen stands up. "How do we know what Aton looks like?" Mr. Madore points the chalk at him. "Good question. It isn't all too rare for a person to see Aton. He appears every century or so."
Thobim sits down. "So, Aton was there at the beginning. We're not actually sure how he was there, so let's just say that he just appeared. Aton was supposedly making things immediately after he appeared. He made our world and the surrounding ones. He took a break, then made Rigalpu first." He draws their world, and then a little landmass on it.
"Then, he made Fernek and other lands." He puts more landmass on it. "He took a century-long break to do his largest project yet. His children. He made about 15, then rested. The Children of Aton did their jobs, then they started having children. That's about the time Aton woke up."
He draws a family tree but leaves Ieyr far away from the other deities. "We'll get into why Ieyr is over there sometime in the next few weeks."
