Ze's perspective

"Fuck!"

I opened my eyes in the dark with a silent yawn after a hiss had woken me up. As a loud thud followed I quickly turned to the lamp on the nightstand and flicked it on. After my eyes had gotten used to the bright light, I saw Anthony sitting on the floor, rubbing his left shoulder with a look of pain on his face.

"Anthy, are you okay?", I asked concerned as I crawled across the bed and dropped down on the floor next to him.

He shrugged and kept the same hurt expression, but as I grabbed his hand and squeezed it a bit, I saw a faint smile hush over his face. "Not really", he replied, but it came out as more of a question, "I had to go to the bathroom and when I was coming back it was too dark for me to see so I stubbed my toe on the bedframe which resulted in me losing balance and the rest you know".

I chuckled, something like that was bound to happen to him one day or another. "Well then, let's get you up and back to bed", I said as I stood up and offered him my hand. He took it but when I tried to pull him up I noticed pain on his face again. He let go with his left hand and let me pull him up by his right hand alone. "Hey, what's wrong?", I murmured, "Did you hurt yourself while falling down?"

"I guess so", he groaned as he proceeded to rub his shoulder again, "I stumbled back into the edge of the desk with my shoulder, probably just a bruise though".

I frowned, that sounded very painful, then I grabbed him and turned him around so he was facing away from me. "You know what would help?", I purred as I carefully began to massage his back, "A little night swimming trip".

I could feel him tense up under my hands as I said that, and I immediately felt bad for suggesting it, why didn't I think about that he could still be intimidated from his accident yesterday, but then he relaxed and shrugged.

"Well, swimming in a pool is different than swimming in the sea", he mumbled, "Why not? Is it still open at this time?"

"I don't even know what time it is", I chuckled and turned to the alarm clock on the nightstand, "Just past midnight. And about the opening times, we'll just have to go and find out".

Anthony hesitated again, but eventually gave in, so we quickly changed into some swimwear and snuck up to the roof, extra slow so Anthony could get used to his sore muscles. The pool had closed at 8pm, and as I tried the door it was locked. So much for the midnight swim.

"Bummer", I muttered, but I wasn't about to give up just yet.

"Well, let's go back and sleep then", Anthony sighed and turned around to head back down.

"No, hang on!", I hissed and tried the little edge above the door. I knew a lot of people that always hid their spare keys there, so it was worth a try. "Bingo!", I giggled as I found the little key and proceeded to unlock the door, "Can't believe it was that easy".

"Are you sure this isn't illegal?", Anthony whispered as he came closer again, "We might get in big trouble for this".

"Highlight the might, Anthy", I grinned, "And even if, it'll be worth all the pain we had yesterday".

"Alright, if you say so", he muttered, followed me out and smirked, "But since when are you such a bad boy? Not that I don't like it...".

I made sure to lock the door from outside, grinned at his comment and then turned to the pool. The round lights on the pool walls made the water reflect and the reflections dance around the roof. It looked incredible and I couldn't wait until we were in. Even though it wasn't quite spring just yet, the night was fairly warm and so was the water as I tested the temperature with my foot. Jumping in would be too loud, so we carefully slid in instead. Anthony was still hesitant, mostly because his shoulder really seemed to bother him, and he was wading in the water more than actually swimming. I swam up to him, wrapped my arms around his neck so we were close, and glanced up into his eyes.
